Chapter Twenty Two: Aogiri Tree

A/N 
Sorry if some of you don't understand. This chapter and the last are set in the world of Tokyo Ghoul. They don't follow the story line of the actual anime but the chapters do use characters from the anime, like Kaneki, Touka, Ayato an some others.
These chapters are important to read as they contain information you need to understand the next few chapters.

"Alecxis, what are you hiding?" I asked.

"Nothing." she answered innocently.

"Just tell me. I know when you're hiding something." I pressed.

Alecxis looked around then began to talk in a low whisper.

"I think I know who was there that night. She's part of a group called Aogiri Tree." {Can you guess who?} 

"Ok.."

"And that group is where ghouls fight humans. Well, more  like they fight the CCG." my sister explained.

"Keep going." I said.

"She doesn't wear a mask. She has bandages that cover her entire body and she wears a pink dress kind of hoodie. I'n not sure what it is but that's besides the point. She's a one eyed ghoul, like myself and Kaneki and a few others." Alecxis told me.

"And she's powerful?"

"Very."

"Well. That could be an issue." I thought out loud.

"And not only that, but Aogiri Tree has some of the strongest ghouls in Tokyo!" she exclaimed.

"Like who?" I questioned.

"Like him and Kaneki." she answered quietly.

"Who is 'he'?" I pried.

"Touka's brother."

"And who is Touka's brother?" 

Gee, she is reluctant!

"He's- WATCH OUT!"

I looked at her, startled.

Alecxis had jumped on me when she yelled 'WATCH OUT!' I saw a shower of crystallized Kagune shards hit us. Alecxis' Kagune wings were out. I forgot what they are called.

After they shards stopped. Alecxis got off of me.

"Sorry..." my little sister muttered.

"It's fine." I picked up a shard that had just missed my neck. "Do you recognize these?" I asked this because I knew enough to know each and every Kagune is different.

"He's here. I know it."

"WHO?!" I was getting impatient.

Alecxis pointed behind me. I turned around.

There, standing behind us with a  smirk on his face, was a dark blue haired, male ghoul.

"He doesn't recognize me." Alecxis whispered.

"Is that a good thing?"

"Yes."

When she answered, the blue haired ghoul charged at us.

I didn't have a Kagune, so I HAD to use either a sword or quinque. And I knew Alecxis hated those things, as they were made of dead ghouls' Kagunes.

I used the reinforced iron sword.

"Why is a ghoul with a dove?" the ghoul hissed.

"None of your business!" Alecxis summoned her wings again.

"Arrogant girl." he said.

"Don't talk to her like that." I slashed the sword at him. He dodged but I did land a few hits on the ghoul.
