The Four Paths

You stood in front of the four paths, unsure of where to go. You knew you couldn't stay here contemplating forever, especially if you decided to continue traveling with Yunan, because if you waited too long, he would be way too far ahead for you to catch up to him. You stood in though, weighing your options when you heard shouts from behind you.

"There she is!"

"We finally caught up to her!"

"Quick, get her before she runs away again!"

There were a lot of other comments, but they were all jumbled together from the loud voices of the men a ways behind you. You turned around, only to confirm what you had feared. It was indeed Barakat and his men. Normally, the moment you saw them you would bolt out of there, but because Yunan had told you to think very carefully before choosing what path to go down, it made you feel uneasy at the thought of just randomly choosing. You were very scared, and knew that if you didn't decide quickly, you would have to either choose a random path, or be caught by Barakat, which you knew wasn't going to be an option. The men had started running towards you, scaring you even more. Who wouldn't be scared to see a bunch of gigantic, buff men running towards you, not to mention that most of them were also magicians.

You decided that you were just going to have to go down a random path. Then, you saw it. It was something that had often popped up during your journey at the most unexpected and random times. And here it was yet again, at an unexpected and random time. But for some reason, you felt as if it wasn't a random time this time, that it was meant to come here, that it was meant for you. You stared at the small white bird, as if expecting it to speak to you. It fluttered in front of your eyes for a few seconds before turning and fluttering away. You felt as if it was showing you the way, showing you which path to take. So, you ran after it, away from Barakat and his men, and to your future.

Omo, I am literally freaking out in my head right now, I have no idea why I am so excited! This was the final chapter before the endings! But I am sorry to say that I won't be posting the endings until I write each of them, and while I might be in a writing mood at the moment, I am probably not going to write them for a little bit, as I am starting to lose motivation while typing this and the fact that I am unsure how I want some of their endings to go. But, I promise that it won't take that long, because I want to finish this story soon so that I can finish this wonderful story, focus more on my Free! Oneshots that you should all check out (if you haven't watched Free! yet, go do it... Both seasons are on Crunchyroll, and it is an amazing sports anime! And if you like Yaoi, there are gay ships everywhere! I recommend it to everyone! Go watch it now!), and so I can post a gay Kpop fanfic because I am trash. Don't forget that I will be posting an important announcement/author note after this, so make sure that you read it!
