My day went well.
Well, except for one.

Flashback
Nagmamadali akong pumasok sa entrance at sinwipe yung card ko at tumakbo papunta sa hagdanan. 3rd floor pa ang Accounting Department kaya todo ang pagmamadali ko.

I don't want to be late for my first day of being a supervisor no!

Sa pagmamadali ko, may nabangga ako sa pagmamadali  nya ding pumasok sa elevator.

Just imagine that papunta sya sa elevator and ako naman sa hagdanan.

Ayun.  I have no time to have a chit-chat kaya naman gora na me!

I immediately said. "Sorry" and dali-daling umalis. I didn't even bother to look back.

Haggard na ako pagdating ng office. And shit, I'm 3 mins late.
I tidied up my clothes and fixed my hair.

I opened the door and everybody stopped whatever they're doing.  Mukhang kilala naman nila ako.

I stood up straight, smiled and said, "Goodmorning. I'm Erin. Nice to meet you"

An elderly woman approached me with a smile.

"Welcome to our branch Ms. Trinidad. We are so excited to work with you"

"Me too? Ma'am----" I trailed off.

"Mrs. Helena Dimol, Senior Financial Consultant"

"Nice meeting you po Ma'am Dimol" I shook her hands. And faced everyone and smiled.

"Ah! I almost forgot. I would like to introduce you to our newly appointed Branch Manager"

Wait.

Bago din ang Manager dito?

I thought si Ms. Suzette Lao pa din? Hindi ako nainform nito.

She gave way to the person whom I least expected.

"Goodmorning. I'm Francheska Alexa G. Ruiz. But please just call me Alex.  I look forward to work with you all. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. " sabi niya in an effortless way at nagsmile sa ibang employees.

Bakit familiar? Ang ganda nya pero bakit ang dating parang ano, parang basta!

May mga employees na wari'y kinikilig at ang iba todo pa ang smile sa kanya.  Hala.

At ako? Wala. Ano ba dapat irereact ko? She was just the person or so I thought,  whom I bumped this morning.

Yun lang naman. Hala patay. Baka sabihin pa nyang no manners ako.

"Okay. Ms. Erin, your workplace will be beside the manager's office. Ms. Suzette, the past manager suggested that it would be better to put it that way so you can tap each others door easily."

Yes naman.  This can't get any better.

"Opo. I understand. Thank you!"

With a heavy heart, I decided to see it for myself.  Hindi ko alam kung bakit.

The office was modern and unique.
Everything was clearly visible from the outside. But may mga blinds sya so private pa rin.

Pumasok na ako sa loob and I was quite surprised to see my belongings na naka-arrange na. I sat down at my table and closed my eyes.

Hay. Ang tagal ko ding hinintay na mapromote ako. And now, here I am. Having my own office in a very prestigious company. Thank you Lord!

"It looks like you're already sleepy to see so many papers in your table huh?"
