Emily POV
I walked to school holding books in my hand. Playing with my hair. I was nervous today is the test of me to get a good education. As you can tell I am a nerd, and YES I have friends, I get teased by a boy name Jacob Sartorious, he is a very popular student in the school. He always makes me look stupid even when I tell him to stop, he never gets in trouble. I do. Because I hate ratting people out. Oh and I'm Em, well Emily but people just call me Em. Anyways I'm 14 and his 13/2-BIG DIFFERENCE.

I walked to class playing with my hair, more like ripping my hair out. As I walked into class I saw only one seat left and it was next to Jacob -ugh- and I just sat down, our teacher Mrs. Rice handing out our test "so here's your test. Any questions?" Mrs. Rice says as i shake my head. I start doing the test, then I heard Jacob whispering trying to get my attention, so I look at him "hey, Em what's the answer for question 7&8?" He asked me. I shook my head and looked back at my test. In the corner of my eyes I could see Jacob still trying to get my attention. So I looked at him with an annoyed face, "stop! We're doing a test, and why are you asking me? I thought you hated me?" I Whisper to Jacob without anyone else noticing. He looks at me for a while then he says "but I really need your help, please." I didn't say anything and just went on with the test. Moments later Jacob asked again, "I could tell Mrs Rice on you and you'll get in trouble" I said to him, but I'll never actually do it, "no please don't I really want to pass this test and have a good education, and we can work things out between us" he says with a really sad look, which looked like he was about to cry. I hated feeling like this and I actually kinda liked him for some reason, so I gave him the answers.

-SKIP TO LUNCH-
So finally lunch came around, it felt like forever, so as I walked to my locker I saw Jacob, I tried to not get noticed by him but without luck he saw and walked over to me. The thoughts that went through my head went crazy, I didn't know what I should do or say like BLAH. He came over and said "hey, thanks for the answers, if you like you can come over to my house at around 4 and talk about stuff and work things out between us?" I didn't know what to say so I said sure. Then he left.

Jacob POV
So when it was lunch, I went walking around the lockers to find Em, she's actually a really nice and pretty girl. Jacob no don't, you teased her basically bullied her why are you liking her? I say to myself. But as soon as I saw Em I walked over to her "hey, thanks for the answers, if you like you can come over to my house at around 4 and talk about stuff and work things out between up?" I say as she looked like she didn't want to talk to me. Then it seem awkward so I left, while walking I said to myself "does she even know where I live? Do you think she is even going to turn up? Do I like her?"

Emily POV
When he left, I then I realized I DONT KNOW WHERE HE LIVES AND I DONT HAVE HIS PHONE NUMBER! Oh no.
The bell rang, which meant we had 5 minutes before class started and i didn't have the chance to eat lunch because I was worrying about a little stupid thing. I had art next for two periods, I was happy cuz it's one of my favorite subjects but sad cuz Jacob is not in my class, WAIT why am I worrying about Jacob? Eh,
So in art class our teacher Mr Robb wasn't here today, and our substitute teacher just allowed us to draw, paint or whatever we wanted as long as it is art related, so I sketched a person, but I didn't know who to draw so I just drew, when I relies it looked like someone.... Someone who I thing we became friends with wait no..... Jacob Sartorious.

Once school was finished I put everything back into my locker and started to walk home, I noticed my friends where not at school today. Which was odd, so as I walked home I texted my friends Amy, Krystal, Taylor and Ariana in a group chat called..
'BORING AS PEOPLE🙄'

Emily🤓- hey, where you guys 2day?

Amy🙈-oh sorry, I didn't go today as I needed to fix my braces

Emily🤓- Krystal, Taylor Ariana?

Krystal👭- soz i feel sick 😷

Taylor❤️- oh, was busy moving houses remember?

Emily🤓- ohhhh yea

Ariana👑- had a long day yesterday with the fam and for some reason my arm is in pain

Amy🙈- I'll be at school tomoz dw

Ariana👑- same here

Taylor❤️- me too

Krystal👭- not 2 sure if imma go to school 2moz 😷😷

Emily🤓- YES - kris get better💕 I'll try visit tomorrow after school

I thought to myself.... Who has Jacob number? ............... ARIANA she is like kinda friends with him, I'll ask her and plus I need to ask him where he lives.

Ariana👑- aye wassup?

Emily🤓- umm do you have Jacob's number?

Ariana👑- yeah why do you need his number?

Emily🤓- he invited me to his house 2 talk 2day

Jacob POV
I was kinda nervous when was 3:30 because Em will be coming or hopefully coming over to my house. Oh shoot I think I should clean my room. As I cleaned my room I got a nonfiction from a number that I didn't have as a contact...

I realized JACOB'S HOUSE IS NEXT DOOR TO MINE!!

But it's almost 4 I need to wear something cute - I think I'll wear this

It's cute but casual.

Jacob POV

Oh no it's 4 but she's not here yet, I think she's just having trouble finding my house. So I just laid down on my bed checking all my social media

Emily POV
GOD! It's 4 I need to get going. So I put on my converse and ran next door to where Jacob lived.
