Riley POV
He saw me cry. He saw me scream and he saw me look like a lonely little girl. How embarrassing right? But i really didn't care.
I woke up to see the fool, Stavi was his name i guess. I looked into his eyes. Red as blood, like the guy who saved me when I was about six. He looked like him, only deader. More, evil like.
"What are you looking at?" he snarled. His fangs, you can say, was shining brightly.
"Your eyes," i answered truthfully. "And your fangs."
He closed his mouth and went to the thick curtain and closed it. Hearing a loud growl, i just sighed. It was the only human thing about this damn concentration camp.
Slowly i started to hum. It was a lowly song, by Zedd. "Are you gonna stay the night? Are you gonna stay the night, if so-o-o are you are gonna stay the night!"
"Are you singing?" he asked evilly. His voice sinister and cruel, but it was one voice i notice about. Then be rephrased it. "Can you sing?" he asked more kindly.
"I can sorta sing...." i drawled out. I didn't want to share any of my boring traits to a mass killer vampire.
Hold the hell up! your wondering how i know he's a vampire and a killer. Well its like looking at the obvious.
First: he has fangs and blood red eyes. Second: he deathly pale skin. Third: he had scars that look like try tried to fight back. And lastly: he was threatening to kill me.
"Yeah, I can sing...." i looked at the thick curtain and saw he was staring at me. His eyes, which took me at surprise at first, wasn't red anymore. But pitch black. Nice choice, noting the sarcasm.
"Who hurt your leg?" he growled. I looked down to see i was clutching my right leg. Wincing slightly, i felt my skin crawl as i rubbed it. It still was in pain, after all these years.
"I don't want to tell you," i muttered. My own eyes filled to the brim. My leg hurting, it always hurt when someone asked of it.
"Why not?" he snarled.
"What doesn't kill me, should." was all i replied to. I rolled Onto my side, closed my eyes, brimming with tears, and tried to ignore the fire starting in my stomach.
Stavi POV
She said something odd. But she is a human, they all say odd things.
She turned her back on me and went to sleep. I couldn't fall asleep and went to find Doc Huffman. I was glad to be granted access out of my solitary confinement once in a while.
Walking down a long corridor, a door opened and saw Leslie. She was the other vampire, and self-proclaim herself my mate. I haven't seen my since i was a young vampire.
She turned my way and honey eyes turned bright gold. "Stavi!" was what she whispered. Fuck that, whisper my ass, it was a fucking yell. She had me in a tight ass hug. My breathing, like i breathed anyway, was fucked.
I pushed her off me and walked away. Rude as it may seem, i was pose to be a mute. Only to my kill so i speak. But....Oddly enough, i haven't tried to kill Riley....all i wanted was to talk to her. Odd.....
When he got to Doc Huffman room, i knocked softly and he opened the door to see me. I smiled evilly down at him and he shiver in fright. "Hey Doc, i need to talk to you about something."
"Alright," he responded back. He made me sit down on his bed and look at him.
"Is Riley pose to be my mate?" i asked out of the blue. Doc Huffman had this incredulous look in his eyes as the water he had dropped and splashed everywhere.
"Why-why do you ask that?" he questioned nervously. He scratch his head as i looked at my sickly pale hands.
"Because i see her and hear her every where i go," i mumble flatly. "Its kinda freaking me out!" i exclaimed, pensive was written on my face. My eyes going back to their natural shade, azure blue.
"Doc-"
"Oh, fuck it!" the Doc muttered. He looked at me and smiled with his hard expression. "She's your mate. You won't feel nothing for one week. Figure out her problem and she'll figure out yours, now leave." He explained, calmly.
I got out of his room and walked down the hall. shock written all over my face as i see Riley in the overhead light. It was my first time seeing her fully.
She was a dainty little thing, around 5'6. She had long sandy brown hair. Bright blue grey eyes. And heart shape lips, full and pink.
Her eyes were all over the place. Then looked up to me, her face blooming a she walked past me. It was covered into faintly red face, her cheeks. Making her look lovely.
Am I really this girls mate? I thought. It couldn't be true, it was to far fetched. Too indescribable. Too unpredictable. Not enough truth in these lies.
I need to get my head straight before i lose sight on wwhat's important. Even the first day when we meet,we had the same goals.
We both, "Want to get well" and live out lives.
