"It's o-okay, Phil. I'll l-leave." He spoke, turning his back, as sobs shook his body silently.

-

Dan howell has a mess.

He'd just let Phil down, after he'd got his hopes up, so so high. Phil had told him he'd accept him, but he'd lied.

But then again, why should he be sad? Dan lost someone who didn't love him, and Phil lost someone who loved him.

It made his heart sick when he remembered all the good words, now proken promises. He didn't once look back at Phil, because he was sure what he saw would full him with heartache.

He folded him arms in front of him, every emotion you could even fathom held tightly in his grip. He wanted to throw up, he felt gross and used.

His sobs came to an abrupt halt when somebody grabbed him from behind.

It was Phil.

Phil pinned him against the wall, and hugged him. He hugged him so tight, and it was Dan's first hug he can remember experiencing. Phil was so warm against him, and it felt so good to be hugged.

His mind repeated one thing.

I will not cry.

I will not cry.

I will n-

Phil gave him a reassuring squeeze. He cried.

He got salty tears and snot all over Phil's black shirt, because it felt so good for someone to hug him. He was still afraid Phil didn't like him, but he enjoyed the hug for as long as he could.

"Oh my god, Dan. I'm so, so sorry." He spoke, regret and guilt laced into every syllable of the words and into Dan's mind. He nodded into Phil's shoulder.
