After you gave her the homework she missed.
You asked the office to gather her homework
and they gave you her schedule.
She thanked you with a hug and a smile.
The same smile she gives everyone.
A smile that blew you away.
You wondered why you felt that way.
She gave you tingles in your stomach
you just couldn't ignore.
She was way out of your league.
