You ran into Music with
a broad smile on your face.

You found a song.

And you couldn't wait
to sing it to her.

You sat in the seat next to her
and realized that her head
was hung way down low.

She was sad.

You tapped her shoulder
and she looked up.

"Hey," you whispered gently,
"What's wrong?
Why the dull face?"

She looked up at you
and immediately
covered her face
with a smile.

She throws her head back
with a melodious laugh,
"Nothing's wrong," she spoke,
"where did you even get that thought?"

"I don't know," you replied.
"You just looked kinda sad."

"Well, you, my good sir,
need glasses," she chuckled
and poked a finger
into your chest.

"Maybe I do need glasses,"
you commented.
