A trip to the sweet shop

"It's so nice out here today!" Sakura said. She smiled the fresh air and breathed it out happily.

"I agree! The rain made it more beautiful." Naruto said.

"Well Mr. Uzumaki, where are we going?"

"Well I was thinking we go to the cafe' down the street and see where we go from there."

"Alright let's go." She said and walked ahead of him.

"H-hey wait for me!" He said catching up to her. They had walked for ten more minutes until they reached their destination.

"It's across the street over there." Naruto pointed to a small little cafe' with a sign in front saying 'Grand Opening'.

"Oh it's new?"

"Yeah I was walking past and I saw it open a few days prior so I thought we might go here together." He said smiling sheepishly.

"Oh really? Thanks Naruto." She said.

"Y-you're welcome Sakura chan." He said blushing slightly. They walked across the street and went inside and gasped at the scenery. It was an adorable little cafe' with peach and white color schemes over the walls. The smell of the delicious food mixed with the sented candles filled their noses.

"Wow it smells really good in here!" Naruto said.

"Yeah! Great job picking this place! Let's take a seat I've there " Sakura pointed to a booth by the window on the back.

"Ok." He said and guided her there. They say on opposite sides and not a moment later, a waitress came to them.

"Hello welcome to 'Asami's Cafe'. My name is Chloe and I'll be your server today." The waitress gave them menus in a shape of milkshakes. "I'll come back when you are ready to order." She said and left.

"Oh wow these menus are cute." Sakura said.

"Yeah just like you." Naruto said. Sakura looked up at him and started to blush hard.

"Wait are you blushing?" He asked.

"N-no it's just hot! Are you hot? I'm hot!" She said making up excuses.

"Did I really just make Haruno Sakura...blush? Oh this must be a dream. Surely she wouldn't blush at me..." He teased.

"Shut up baka!" She said in a hushed voice.

"Hahaha" Sakura just put up the menu in front of her face while Naruto laughed even more and looked at the menu too.

"Hello. Are you ready for me to take your order?"

"Ah yes I would like a chocolate cake." Naruto said.

"I would like a strawberry shortcake." Sakura said.

"Alright! One strawberry shortcake and a chocolate cake coming right up! And your drinks?"

"Um water for the both of us." Sakura answered.

"Ok I'll be right back with your orders." The perky waitress said and left.

"I hope the food is as good as it looks." Sakura said.

"It's going to be great. Trust me!" Naruto reassured her.

"Mm the last time I trusted you, my hair was dark purple for a month." She said.

"Ok that wasn't my fault. I thought the box said it was violet. Not midnight purple or whatever." He explained.

"The box had the color dark purple in the front."

"I thought that violet was that color!"

"Shut up Naruto."

A moment later, the waitress came back with their cakes along with their drinks.

"Here you go. Two strawberry shortcakes and two glasses of water. Enjoy your meal!" She said and left.

"Wow it looks so good!" Naruto said.

"Let's see how good it tastes." Sakura said and took a bite.

"Mmm this is delicious!" She said.

"Let me try mine." Naruto said and bit into his.

"Delicious!" He said and kept stuffing his face.

"We need to come here often." She declared. Naruto agreed and they continued to each and share a couple of laughs. When they finished, Naruto paid for them both and left and walked Sakura home.

"So...same time next week?" He asked.

"Of course! Night." She said and kissed him on the cheek and went into her house leaving a smiling Naruto.
