Same Mistakes

Part 20

*Heather’s PoV*

We walking into the massive Dance Hall, which was decorated with white and blue decorations. I looked around in awe, and then turned to Ryan, who smirked, “Don’t look at me. I was with you all day.”

Just then, Ethan, Zack, and the twins, came up, all matching their partner (A/N Picture on the right). Ryan excused himself to get changed, as Sydney asked, “How do you like the decorations?” “I love them.” I said, “Now, I have to change into my dress.” I changed, and the party started.

One Direction reformed for “One Night Only”, and I was amazing to hear our dads sing live. They did all their hits; Best Song Ever, Song of Our Lives, Up all Night, What Makes you Beautiful, One Way or Another, and others.

Finally, they played Irresistible, and we all slow danced to it. “What would we be doing right now, if we weren’t dating?” I asked Ryan, and he smiled, “Probably sitting in a corner together, talking about how icky love songs are.” I giggled; that’s what we always did at school dances, because we never had a date for them. “I like this so much better.” I said, filling the gap between our bodies. “Me too.” he replied, “filling the gap between our lips. Every kiss got better, and more perfect.

After we danced for a few more songs, The Next Generation, which was the name of our band, decided to play a few songs, including Little Things, which our parents slow danced to. Darcy stayed on stage, as background dancer.

After like 20 songs, Ryan talked into his Mic, “I have an announcement.” I turned to him and he smiled. He put his guitar down, and knelt on one knee….

“Sorry, I have to tie my shoe.” he said. The crowd, and band started to boo. They all knew what was happening. “Do you want me to ask?” he asked the crowd, and they all cheered; I looked at Ryan, as he stood up and gave me a crooked smile.
