"Can we go see the big statue lady?" Vic asked me making me frown at him.

"The what?"

"The statue of the lady, you know she's holding the things" he looked to me for a second.

"You mean the Statue of Liberty" I laughed.

"Don't laugh at me I don't live here" he frowned at me.

"You don't have to live here to know the name of a world famous landmark" I smirked at  him.

I looked back out the window and frowned. We were coming up to the junction.

"Where do I turn?" Vic asked looking st me.

"Watch the road!" I snapped way too quickly. He didn't say any thing he just looked back out.

"Uh, go- go straight" I said as we got to the junction.

I closed my eyes and gripped onto the door as he drove through, yet the images still flashed in my mind.

"We're past it now" Vic said quietly.

"I'm sorry I just-"

"It's fine Kells" he re assured me.

"I can still see it" I mumbled.

"I really wish I could help, I hate to see you like this" he sighed.

"Turn up here I'm hungry" I said to him pointing down the road.

We pulled up outside a small cafe that I liked.

"This is cute" Vic smiled getting out the car.

"One of my favourite places" I smiled back at him.

We walked inside and sat down at one of the tables.

Vic's POV
I looked through the little cafes menu deciding on what to eat, so far all me and Kellin had done was lay n bed because I didn't really wanna move.

I looked over the menu to see Kellin staring at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing" he shook his head looking ab like down at the menu.

I looked back down to mine but I could feel Kellin still staring at me so I looked back to him.

"Come on, tell me what's up?" I said to him putting the menu down on the table.

"Why didn't you give up?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I frowned at him.

"Like, with me, to you I was just gone" he said.

"I love you" I shrugged.

"Yeah but you could have tried to move on but you didn't" he replied.

"I did try but nothing felt like what I had with you" I told him.

"What if I didn't come back, what if I never found you" he looked at me.

"Then I guess I would have stayed lonely and sad for the rest of my life" I shrugged. "But I have you now and that's all that matters"

"I'm so lucky" he smiled at me.

"So am I" I smiled back.
