For those who have read the original, this entire scene is from that. When I started rewriting this story, I realized I wouldn't be able to use most of my previously written material, but I was determined to fit this one it.

Alex:

Once we were all piled in the car again, I leaned against the back of the seat and shut my eyes. I was exhausted after spending hours at the mall. In fact, I didn't even realize there were guys out there who enjoyed shopping for hours like that. I felt Kane gently put his arm across the back of the seat and asked, "Tired?"

I nodded and let out a mumble that I'm sure resembled an affirmative, but then shivered when he released a husky laugh. His arm dropped to my shoulders and he tugged gently, "Lay on my shoulder. You're making me uncomfortable just looking at you." He teased softly.

I resisted for about three seconds before I dropped to his shoulder and curled up against him. He ran his fingers lightly through my hair and I felt compelled to mumble, "That's my weakness..."

He chuckled again as he asked, "When someone plays with your hair?" I gave a lazy nod and I heard the smile in his voice when he said, "It's okay for you to fall asleep on the way there. It's a ways to drive and you look like you could use a nap."

Kane:

A.J.'s head moved as she shook it, "Don't wanna be rude." I glanced up as the rest of the guys attempted to muffle their shouts of laughter. When I looked back down at her, her hazel eyes were narrowed on my face as she gave me a sleepy glare. "What?" She muttered. I bit my lip and continued running my fingers through her silky hair.

Rylan cleared his throat from the front and replied, "You're fucking adorable, Lexi. We promise we won't think you're rude if you fall asleep."

She released a huge sigh and made a small contented noise that made my heart beat a little faster. I twirled a strand of her hair around my finger gently. "Hey, Ry?" I asked softly, trying not to wake her.

"Yeah?" He asked, equally as quiet.

"Are we all sleeping in your room tonight?" I was hopeful that I'd be able to cuddle with her tonight as well.

Rylan paused for a moment as he was thinking and then said, "If everyone wants to, they can. Everyone needs to make sure their homework gets done, though." He cast a pointed glare at Cedric through the rearview mirror.

I smiled as A.J. twisted the fabric of my shirt in her hand. Soon enough, we had made it to Lee's Kitchen and I gently ran my hand down her arm. "Lexi, wake up, babe. Time for food." She sat up so fast that I barely dodged her flying hair as she blinked and looked around. The others had just finished sliding out of the car, and I let her get out ahead of me. "Fuck me." I muttered when I realized I was staring at her perfect little ass.

She suddenly paused as she was attempting to step over the seat in front of us and she looked over her shoulder at me, "What?" she asked, biting her lip and looking damn adorable.

"Nothing, babe." I muttered, hoping she wouldn't press the issue. Thankfully she hopped out of the car without any more questions, and once I was out, we headed into the restaurant.

Rylan had already spoken with the waitress and was seated at a table waiting for us as we stepped through the door.

Alex:

Kane moved me so that I was sitting next to Rylan. I was a little surprised but didn't say anything as Rylan poured some tea in my cup. Cedric sat on my other side, and asked, "Sugar?"

I nodded, "Please." I said softly. He handed me a couple of packets and I dumped both in my tea. "One more, please?" I asked hopefully.

Rylan chuckled, "Lexi, pretty soon it's just going to be flavored sugar water." I blinked and tilted my head. Was he saying there was a problem with that?

I was saved from actually making a response when another packet of sugar landed in front of me from the other side of the table. "Really, Tucker?" Rylan asked.

I giggled and quickly added that sugar to my tea before he could say anything else, or worse, snatch the precious sugar away. A while after ordering food, we were served, and I realized each of the boys had ordered something different. I ended up eating all of my sweet and sour pork while I was listening to them chat, and most of my rice. I had tried some of the chicken, but I wasn't a huge fan, so I didn't eat much. The servings were huge, and it was times like this that made me extremely happy for my faster than normal metabolism.

I looked to see what Rylan was eating, but it wasn't really what I wanted. What I really wanted was some more pork. I sat up on my knees and used the pretense of taking a drink of my water as I glanced around the table before finally landing on Cedric's plate. He had pork. I'm sure if I just asked him, he'd let me have a bite or two, but where was the fun in that?

I bit my lip as I looked around the table, but before I could do anything, he grabbed his phone out of his pocket and glanced at it. "I'll be right back. It's my dad." Rylan gave a nod and I'm pretty sure my eyes lit up on his now unguarded plate. I watched him step outside before I quickly grabbed a couple pieces of the pork and placed them on my plate.

Paris caught my eye and looked astonished, "Did you just...?"

I felt my face heat as I whispered, "I think I'm in love with this pork." As I said that, I stole another piece of pork and put it on my plate without looking at it. Everyone at the table laughed fairly hard at this, and I was glad that the restaurant was practically empty as I whispered to Rylan, "He won't kill me too badly, will he?"

Rylan snorted... which resulted in a gross mess because tea shot out his nose. He quickly grabbed his napkin and cleaned up the mess and I heard Tucker mutter, "Dude, I didn't even think it was possible to do that."

Kane was trying to stop giggling, but it wasn't working, and Paris smirked at me when I caught his eye. "I'm so sorry, Rylan. Had I realized that stealing his pork would have resulted in this, I would have left it on his plate." I glanced up to see Cedric walking back, and he stopped when he saw everyone.

"What the fuck happened?" He asked so quietly that no one else in the restaurant would have heard him. He took his seat again and glanced down at his plate, frowning. He glanced up at everyone, his eyes narrowed, until he stopped on me. "You. Tell me what happened, and why you have my pork."

I quickly shoved the remaining pork into my mouth and shook my head, trying to aim for innocence. His eyes narrowed again and he looked at Rylan. Rylan snorted again, although thankfully no beverages came out of his nose this time. "She's in love with the pork. She stole your pork and fuck she was cute doing it."

My eyes widened and I was pretty sure my face was bright red. Cedric just blinked a few times and glanced at me, "You stole my pork?" I gulped and swallowed the last of it as I hesitantly nodded. "And you made Kane giggle?" I glanced at Kane, who was still snickering as I nodded again. "And Rylan snorted... tea?" I nodded again, feeling the heat in my face getting worse. He scratched his head and asked, "Are you full now?" I thought about it for a moment before I nodded. "I'm impressed, Little Red. You accomplished all that and I was only outside for less than five minutes."

Dinner was over pretty quickly after that, and Rylan paid before we all climbed back into the car. I'd had a wonderful day with the guys, but I was happy when we finally made it to Rylan's house.
