Open House and getting asked out

The night had finally come open house at Gallagher Elementary , to say that Adalynn was nervous was an understatement but, she kept a cool demeanor on the outside . It was  6 o 'clock when the parents of her students started to walk into the classroom. Adalynn took a deep breath and greeted the parents "Hello I am Miss Adalynn Benton and I'm your Children's Art and Art History   teacher , as you can see your children have painted portraits of you , feel free to mingle , ask me questions ,look at the paintings that Children have painted ,  and have some of the snacks that are provided" . Adalynn said as she motioned to a table various snacks and drinks  "Adalynn" "Uncle Mr. Boss,Aunt Mora" "you look pale deary" Mora said in a worried tone "you should sit down" Mr. Boss suggested sounding just as worried as his wife . "I'm Okay you guys" Adalynn said  before she took a few deep breaths "are you sure sweetie" "yes Aunt Mora"  Adalynn said trying to reassure her aunt .

A Few Moments later Adalynn met Mr and Mrs. Uno, Ms Gilligan , Mr. and Mrs. Sunban   ,  Mr. and Mrs. Beetles, and Dr. and Mrs Lincoln who were all nice  . "Miss Benton I presume" Father said in a smooth tone , Adalynn turned around with a small blush on her face . "Yes I am , you must be the Delightful children Father It's nice to meet you". Adalynn said with out stretched hand which father give it a small peck "yes i am it is most delightful to meet you Miss Benton , my children have grown rather attached to you". Adalynn blush got worse "they are really well behaved children" "thank you, would you like to join me on a date sometime" Father said "Oh the direct approach I like that , and I'm  free on Saturday" . "It's a date then I'll pick you up at 2 maybe we can have a light lunch and catch a movie ". "Here's my address and Cell number" Adalynn said as she gave father a slip of paper . "See you on Saturday" Adalynn said before walking away leaving Father slightly dumbfounded and excited
