Chapter 12: Where it all started

I went to the university the hall day to prepare my transform papers, My parents were glad I chose america since it's closer to visit them then from Korea. Tyler was with me through the hall process, he even called his parents to start searching for a good appartement. ''I don't know why you don't want to stay with my family, seriously it's fine '' Tyler said while we were waiting in the lobby. ''No really Tyler thank you so much but I just want to be more independent'', '' you seem very quite these days, please stop thinking about..that" he said while patting my head. Come to think of it I was ignoring the boy's messages for now three days, and Jackson was always visiting me late at night in front of the dorm, I was obligated to walk from another far entrance so I won't meet him. But I still had to tell them about dinner. After we walked out heading towards the dorms Tyler asked me '' so when is your flight?'' , '' in five days'' , '' What? so soon !'' we walked in silence, as I came across the street that leads to their house, I stopped and said to Tyler '' you go ahead, I m going to talk to them '', he nodded and left. 

Come to think about it I never visited them in their dorms and I wasn't sure it's allowed to have a girl in there, so I stood in front of the residence and called youngjae '' Rita !! finally !! '' he started whining about why I didn't reply to his calls or messages and I was throwing excuses trying to avoid the subject. ''What ? are you downstairs! I m coming !!'', after couple of minutes, I saw Bambam, Youngjae and yugyeom running out of the building searching for me, just the sight of them exited to see me hurt me so hard , but I couldn't show that to them, so I just through a smile while waving to them , ''Yah !! '' bambam said with an angry look while slightly hitting me on the shoulders '' Why aren't you responding to my calls'', '' because I don't want to '' I teased, After playfully fighting with them, they insisted on showing me their house, I refused of course but they dragged me towards the building like I was being kidnapped. '' WELCOME'' youngjae was yelling happily while entering the house, '' We have a guess everyone !'' Yugyeom said while fixing the messy couch to make me a place to sit. The house was messy but I wasn't surprised since I already saw a glance of it in one of their shows, ''OH!'' JB said surprised coming out of the kitchen he smiled at me and hugged me along with mark and jinyoug, '' let me get jackson'' Mark said, I sat on the couch surrounded by the boys asking about news and stuff when jackson came running surprised, he smiled joyfully and hugged me so tightly '' Why aren't you responding my calls ?'' ''I'm sorry I was busy...In fact I came to tell you guys something'', they were all looking at me curious while I sat again next to youngjae ''I was paid for the expose since a lot of portraits were sold...And I want you guys to treat you for dinner'' I said trying to hide any sad feeling behind a fake smile, they were happy hugging me and congratulating me and jackson was so proud. ''Are you guys busy on Saturday ?'' I asked Jb, '' No I don't think so'' '' great then I ll text you once I found a great place '', "you know I will order the most expensive dish'' bambam teased and jinyoung throw him a death glare, '' You chose whatever you want '' I said standing up ready to leave. Everyone insisted to stay longer but my heart couldn't since Jackson was there, hugging me looking at me with his lovely kind eyes. I felt like I was betraying them, but I couldn't tell them the truth. I hugged everyone and left , '' Hey Rita '' youngjae called following me outside the building, I stood looking at him, and he had some serious look on his face '' ..Are you ok?...I mean you would tell me if there was something '' he said with worried eyes. I hesitated for a second, then smiled and nodded telling him that everything was fine.

'' You will finish dinner at 10 pm, I ll be waiting for you in front of the restaurant so I can pick you up to the airport ''  Tyler was checking again watching me apply my last touch of make up, I wanted to look good as it was the  last time I was going to see them. Tyler was comforting me every second, he was trying his best to cheer me up and I appreciated it so much ! As we were putting our bags in the car Lee soo joined us downstairs '' I don't understand why you re leaving so sudden ... Is it because of me ?'' she asked with sincere eyes, '' No , it's because I want to'' I said trying to avoid looking at her, but how can I leave her like this, even if she's a bad person we lived together and been through a lot, so I just smiled at her and hugged her tightly wishing her luck in whatever she chose to do. I got into the car when Jackson texted me checking if I m there yet. I have chosen a fancy restaurant and the boys seemed a little worried about what to order, afraid of making the budget too expensive, '' If you're not choosing fancy dishes I won't talk to you anymore '' wasn't I going to do that either ways ? Bambam was the first one to order and he seemed like someone used to this kind of place, yugyeom was shy but I kept pushing him to chose... The dinner was great we were laughing and talking about everything and Jackson didn't let go of my hand and I didn't mind it. Youngjae kept looking at me and it bothered me, I knew he felt something since he was the closest to me. Time flew quickly when Tyler sent me a text message to tell me he was waiting for me in front, '' Well guys I have to go now '' I said, '' What already ? no let's stay more '' Bambam insisted, '' It's ok we can have dinner tomorrow too isn't it right Rita'' JB asked, I couldn't say anything I just nodded avoiding their eyes. When everyone was leaving, I hugged each one of them, and when It was jinyoung's turn he whispered in my ear '' I know what you r doing'', I looked at him shocked and he had a sweet smile on his face,  comforting me like he always does.  I  asked Jackson to stay for a minute to talk, '' What's wrong with you these days?'' He asked holding my hand looking at me with his handsome worried eyes. ''Listen Jackie ... I wanted to tell you this for sometime now ''I said with a shaky voice trying to stop myself from breaking down, '' You and me...This ... it doesn't work  and you know that..'' his eyes widen with surprise, as he was trying to talk I interrupted him '' Your contract forbidden this which means if we stay like this it may effect your future as well as the group's...And I can't have a relationship as dangerous as this'' tears started coming down, he let go of my hand and looked at me with a disappointed look ''Who was it ?...JB? jinyoung?...Who told you about this contract and shit ?'' My heart was beating fast and I just stood there head down couldn't tell anything more then that, after a couple of long minutes of silence, he sighted and said '' You made this decision, that concerns both of us, all by yourself... you are truly a selfish girl'' and he left, my hurt hurt so much when I heard what he said, I was shocked embarrassed and angry , I burst out crying when I felt tyler's hand catching me before I could fall down. He hugged me and carried me to the car. I cried all my way to the airport,  I didn't stop thinking about each one of them, Youngjae my sweet sunshine, my first friend in south korea, he always cheered me up even if I didn't need it, always smiling and hugging me making me feel warm and cherished, then Bambam, my sweet little baby he never stopped caring about me and protecting me like a jealous small brother, Yougyeom a shy yet very kind and innocent boy he was so friendly he never made me feel like an outsider always making me interact with the others so I can make more friends, Mark the quiet guardian, although we didn't talk much but I felt I had a special place in his heart, Jinyoung the mysterious yet kindhearted guy, who always show up to comfort me without using words, Jb my prince he always saved me from my darkest moments, always there to path my head and make me feel better, always concerned about me...And finally Jackson, the one that got my heart, I don't think this time I ll have it back since I felt for him very hard, I felt for his dorky side, his funny laugh, his gentleman kind heart, cute childish side, his handsome face, his protective arms... I felt for him, but hearing the echo of jackson's last words repeating in my head over and over, made my heart break into peaces.

''we're here'' Tyler said while parking the car, Just the sight of the airport made me feel more anxious, Tyler helped me take down my bags and went with me inside. As we were waiting for the call tyler said '' Don't worry in a week I ll be in America to visit you ...'' . Before I could reply I heard someone say '' What are you doing here ?'' I turned since the voice was similar and found youngjae standing behind me looking at me in a surprise, '' Tyler ? Are you going back to your country ?'' Youngjae asked looking at tyler, '' What are you doing here youngjae?'' I asked dragging him away from Tyler, '' I followed you, I saw you crying, and jackson was mad as hell, you went into a car and I was worried I though you were going back to the dorm..." he stopped when he noticed the flight ticket and the passport in my hand, '' What is this Rita?'' he asked with a sad look, I knew at that moment that he understood what happened so before he could say any harsh word like jackson did, I hugged him tightly crying '' I m sorry youngjae, I m sorry but I m going to America... I can't stay here anymore'' , youngjae was frozen he didn't hug back when I pulled away, he had tears coming down his face ''Why..Didn't you ..tell me '' he asked trying to stop his tears. I hugged him back explaining avery feeling avery though I had about this hall situation, he finally hugged me back crying with me.'he gently pulled me away from him making me promise to keep in touch with him as long as he won't say anything to the boys.

I stayed in youngjae's arms until we heard the flight call, we hugged again trying our best to keep calm, I looked at him with a wide smile and he did the same, '' Thank you youngjae for understanding'' , he caressed my cheek and said '' Don't worry, the guys will understand too ''. For some reason Youngjae made me feel a little better then before, he made me remember our first meeting, he was sick and I helped him but this time he was the one healing me. I looked again at the airport before checking in and  thinking '' This was the place where it all started''.
