Jenny's POV

"Where are you going, Jenny?" Kevin asked tugging on my pants. I crouch down to his level and cup his cheeks.

"Peter and I are taking Henry back home, he's been a little homesick and misses his family." I reply.

"But why was he here in the first place if he had a family? Isn't Neverland only for people who are lost?" He asked scratching his head.

I avert my eyes to Thomas behind me and he has a stoic expression. Okay, what's up with him?

"He just wanted to visit Neverland for a little bit, sorry he couldn't stay for a little longer, Kenny, I know you two are friends." I hug him and look back up at Thomas, who now just scoffed, rolled his eyes, and walked away.

I kiss the top of Kevin's forehead to get back up and follow after Thomas. He already got a little ahead into the forest so I had to fast walk.

Not long afterward, I see his retreating back.

"Thomas!" No answer, just kept on walking. "Hey! I'm calling you, Thomas!" I break into a sprint towards him, grab his shoulder and turn him around.

"What the fûck is your problem!?" I shout getting aggravated.

"My problem is you!" Huh? The fûck? I tilt my head confused and cross my arms.

"What did I do?" I say pointing to myself.

"You changed! Ever since you got married to Pan you changed for the worst and now you're taking the life of a kid you two constantly lie to, just for the selfish reason of keeping that bastard alive!" His face slowly turns red as he's shouting at me.

"Okay, first of all, 33 years on Neverland can change a person whether or not you fall in love with someone and married, second of all, you love this fûcking island because it's home to the lost ones and if Peter goes down, the island and us go down also. Last, don't fûcking call my husband a bastard and selfish when in order to keep running Neverland and keep ungrateful fûcks like you on it, there has to be a sacrifice made. So fûcking get over it, there might be more sacrifices to make in the future, now go back to camp, sit your ass down, and don't talk shît like you know everything that's going on!" My eyes are darkened with anger by the end of my speech and I pointed towards camp.

He just stood there looking away not making eye contact with me then slowly walks away, not looking in my direction the whole time.

Did I lose a friend?

I thought but shook my head. If he doesn't like me the way I am then that's his problem that he can deal with by himself.

I trudge back to camp and watch as Peter and Henry are getting ready for the trip to skull island.

"Are you guys ready?" I question walking towards them with me hands in my pocket. I lift up my arm and signal all the lost boys to me. They all stood at attention in a circle around us.

"Listen here, boys! This lovely young hero right here is sacrificing his whole heart for Peter, me, and also our beloved home Neverland." I wrap my left arm around Henry as the lost boys hoot and holler. "Henry is willing to leave his family behind and be a hero I've always known he would be when I first laid eyes on him, and I will be forever grateful for that."

As I finish my speech I made sure to make my voice break and hold my right hand to my face to make it seem like I'm crying. The lost boys all 'aww' and group hug. I could feel Kevin wrapped around my leg, but the only one who didn't join the group hug was Thomas. He had a disapproving look bestowed upon his face. Oh well, he knows better than to get in the way.
