Author's POV

Once upon a time, in the world of the land without magic, there was a place called Storybrooke.

Not long ago a powerful couple, Peter and Jenny Pan, rulers of Neverland, took over and made the place their new Neverland.

The residents of Storybrooke's memories were all erased, it should be familiar to them since they had their memories erased once, but they wouldn't remember of course.

The new rulers of Storybrooke decided to keep Storybrooke the way it looked, but the only thing they changed is that there's a gigantic tree house mansion out in the woods.

In that mansion lived Peter and Jenny Pan... And also Kevin and their twins, Amanda and Adrian. The five lived happily under the tree house roof.

Even though they were now the rulers of Storybrooke, the citizens of Storybrooke didn't know. Why? Well, neither Jenny nor Pan thought it was necessary to constantly remind people that they now basically own them. Regina Mills is still the mayor, but she is the only one who knows who's really in charge.

The citizens may not know who their real rulers are, but they all almost always have the feeling that everywhere they go, and everything they do they're being watched. They at times feel like they're doing something wrong, they feel there is a superior being looking over their shoulder, telling them what to do and what not to do.

People who have resisted that "superior being" have either been punished the next day or mysteriously disappeared.

The rulers like it that way. Dictating everyone on the down low. But don't think just because they rule in secret doesn't mean they don't go out at all. They go out into the town regularly just as much as the next resident. In the eyes of Storybrooke, Jenny and Peter are a married young couple with beautiful twins in the stroller that is pushed by their older brother, Kevin.

Peter is one of the best lawyers in Storybrooke. He feels that job suits him best since he can still be manipulative when it comes to the defendant's punishment. The judge may give out the punishments, but it's really Peter who manipulates the judge's decisions.

Jenny at the moment does not have a job yet since she's taking care of the twins, but once they start going to school, she'll be Regina's assistant, but in reality Regina is going to be assisting her.

Even though they have to spend their day acting like they're normal, they can finally be themselves when they get home.

When they get home the normal facade is put on a coat rack and they teach their children magic, and for Kevin they teach him fighting skills.

Jenny and Peter's magic combined can end three realms, but having two children who inherited both of their magic? The world will end if they have a tantrum.

Some days are decent and some days are chaotic in the Pan household. Who would have thought twin three year olds with magic could be this much of a handful.

Adrian sometimes flies around the house when Peter is in the middle of giving him a bath, and Amanda makes the ingredients of tonight's dinner splat on the ceiling while Jenny is cooking.

"Really, Amanda?" Jenny would sigh in exhaustion as she watches gravy drip from the ceiling.

"Adrian, come back I'm not done washing you!" Peter would shout at the naked, flying boy.

But by dinner time everything would settle down when Adrian was washed and fully clothed, and there was no food on the ceiling.

"So, how was your day?" Peter would ask his wife.
