Peter's POV

I watched my wife as she sat there on the bed conflicted of what to say next or who to believe. Please Jenny, I love you, I would never use you like that. I know I was wrong to have your father captive, but please don't hate me.

"Jenny, please, I'm sorry! You and your father have every right to be pissed with me but don't believe your father when he accuses me of using you! That's bullshit! I wouldn't hurt you like that, please..." I got on my knees in front of Jenny and pleaded.

A pregnant silence filled the room as we all stopped arguing. I can't lose her like this, not this way. We were just supposed to play this game and win, then we would just live our lives together immortally. Our happily ever after.

Jenny's POV

I believe you, Peter. I just don't know what to do or who to choose- wait, choose? What the hell? I'm not going to choose between my father and Peter, they're not fucking flowers. I know they both mean well but if we just keep on accusing each other back and forth the situation is not going to get better. We have a game to play.

I stood up and faced my father.

"Dad, I know you want what's best for me and I really appreciate that but you have to know that Peter has been treating me like a jewel this whole time, he's never deceived me, whenever I needed him he was here before I even called. Dad, he has made mistakes because he's human, this is one of them, please you have to understand, anyone would be afraid if there was a possibility their loved one were to be taken away from them, they would have done anything keep that from happening and for their loved one to stay." My father looks down in thought and I grab both of his hands. "He's been a great husband so far, please don't hate him." I plead.

"I don't hate Pan, but I guess you have a point, I think my anger that was pent up all these years clouded my judgement," He turned to Peter. "now I see that he's been good to you all this time. I'm sorry." My father was about to bow in apology but Peter stopped him.

"No, I should be sorry and I am. I'm the one who kept you away from your own daughter and kept you in the most dangerous part of Neverland. I'm sorry." Peter apologized, which says a lot since he never does when it comes to bad things he did to other people, but in this case, it's his father-in-law.

"I accept your apology but it will take me a while to forgive you, though." My father said. Peter nods in understanding.

"Okay, now that we have cleared that up, we still have a game to play," I turned to my father. "And I think you've spent enough time on this island and I don't think it's safe since you have no powers to protect yourself. We'll have to let you off the island and put you in StoryBrooke where you'll be safe."

My father nodded in relief that he was finally getting off the island. I looked at Peter to see if he was okay with this and saw no objections. I turned back to my father.

"Okay, let's go."

Jenny's POV

I wave my right hand over my left and a wad of cash appears, about $2,000. He deserves more after what he's been through.

"Oh, Jenny please, not that much." My father protested but I just shook my head and put it the money in a bag and handed it to him.

"You'll need this to at least check into a motel and get started from there," I pull out a ring with the same gem as the necklace he gave me. "Here, press the gem on this ring if you need money or help." I tell him.

He puts on the ring on and nods a thank you.

"Well I'll be off now, I hope to see my daughter again in the near future. I'm gonna miss you, Jenjen." My dad said with a hint of sadness in his tone. I teared up at my old nickname and hugged him tightly.

"And you," My dad points to Peter. "If I hear one complaint or even half a complaint from her and it's about you, I'm taking the first portal back here." Damn, dad can be scary if he wants to.... YAAAAS dad! SLAY!

"I'll try my best not to have her complain, Mr. Moldova." Peter said.

My dad nods and averts his eyes back to me. "So I guess this is a... See you later? Yeah, see you later, Jenjen." Shît, dad. Making a bîtch cry over here.

"See you later, dad."

Jenny's POV

Peter and I walked back to camp in silence. It wasn't an awkward one, it was comfortable. Oh yeah, I need to tell him something.

"Um Peter, I know the ring wasn't evil. I was the one who started those dark thoughts by myself, the ring just happened to get darker because of that. I didn't want to tell my dad this because I thought he'd look at me differently, and I couldn't bear the thought of him not liking his daughter, who inherited light magic from her mother, turn it into dark magic by choice. I know every time he looks at me he sees my mom, it would've broken his heart if I showed him the part my mom would've been if she was evil. That's part of the reason I sent him to StoryBrooke. You and my dad mean a lot to me and it hurts to see you two fight. I just want everything to be peaceful after we win this game." I confessed. This has been on my chest for not long but it still felt too long.

Peter embraces me and kisses the top of my head. My face is in his chest as I breathe in his familiar piney scent.

"Of course we're going to have peace after all this is over. The lost boys and us are going to be happy as a big family like we've always been." He rubs my back as he talks into my hair. We stood in each other's embrace for many blissful moments until he stumbled over me in pain.

"Peter! Are you getting weaker? Oh god." I hold him up from crashing us both to the ground. He took a few deep breaths before smirking mischievously at me.

"Looks like we're gonna win this game sooner than we thought." He strained but the playfulness remained unchanged.

And I returned the same smirk.
