Morning moods

The next morning despite having a bed each they all woke up in Caitlin's bed it was Caitlin's phone that woke them up it was Barry calling Caitlin

"hello" Caitlin said putting him on speaker for iris and felicity to hear felicity had been up for a while with heart burn but Caitlin's phone woke iris up.

"hey Barry what's up" Caitlin yawned

"did I wake you?" Barry asked

"what no no" iris snatched the phone out of Caitlin's hand

"Barry its iris Caitlin was trying to be nice and when we say girls day it means a sleep over and after a sleep over you are not supposed to connected us until like LUNCH" iris yelled into the phone felicity giggled.

"I know you get angry in the morning but can you please put Caitlin back on the phone I really need to talk to her" iris handed the phone back to Caitlin.

"I am not on speaker again am I" asked Barry Caitlin looked at the girls who just shook there heads as if to say, say no we want to hear this.

Caitlin swallowed "what no"

"ok good because I wanted to talk about our plans for tonight" felicity wiggled her eyebrows Caitlin through a cushion at her

"I didn't know we had plans" said Caitlin confused

"we don't but I want us to are you free?" Caitlin looked at iris and felicity who where clueless on what she should say

Caitlin thought for a while before answering "yer sure I am free what will we be doing and at what time"

"well you will have to find out tonight I will pick you up about 8 ish wear something nice love you cait by"

"ok by see you at 8 ish"

Catlin hung up

"what was that" yelled iris

"I don't know what you mean"

"Barry told you he loved you"

"I know I was there when he said it... remember"

"you didn't say you loved him back" said felicity softly

Caitlin looked down and said nothing

"Caitlin this is a good thing for you and Barry it takes Barry alot of courage to tell someone he loves them he has never said it to be or Jo" (in my version Barry never told iris how he felt) iris said softly

"I don't want him to" Caitlin admitted

"don't want him what" felicity asked placed her cheek in her hand

Caitlin took a shaky breath in "I don't want him to love me"

Flashback Caitlin's house 15 years ago

"Katie I cant sleep" a little boy said walking into Caitlin's bedroom waking her up.

"what's wrong Charlie" Caitlin asked picking the 6 year old up and placing him on her lap

"mum and dad are fighting again" the little boy muttered Caitlin wrapped her arms around him and placed her head on his shoulder.

"I know its horrible isn't it but we have to get some rest we have a busy day tomorrow do you wanna sleep in here with me tonight" he simply nodded and they got under the covers and Caitlin stroked his hair and sang to him until he fell asleep.

there was a knock on Caitlin's door Emma walked in "I guess you and Charlie couldn't sleep either" Caitlin shook her head "what are they arguing about this time" Caitlin asked

"the usual I thinks dads sectary" Emma signed and got in bed with Caitlin and Charlie.

"Emma do you think our family will stay together" Caitlin asked Emma

"of course Katie we are snows and snows always stick together even on rainy days like this and we will look back on times like this in the future and say we got through it but if not and we aren't a family in 10 years from now I want you to read this"

Emma said pulling a envelope out of her dressing gown pocket and handing it to Caitlin "so I have to wait 10 years to read this it shouldn't be that hard I will just put it in my draw of stuff I don't need and usually forgot about" Caitlin smiled

"I love you emma"

"I love you to Caitlin now lets get some sleep"
