During the day, many people had visited April whilst she was on bedrest. Many included her parents and Carl who continued to check up on the girl. Sage and Carol who had made April give comforting words to the pair since Sophia was still missing. T-Dog, who had made both himself and April joke about how they were the weakest links of the group due to their wounded injuries. Andrea and Dale who had given the girl many condolences about her state whilst hoping that she got better.

Another person that had visited April on many occasions was Axel, who had managed to sneak in a few kisses here and there.

One occasion had made the couple break out into a full make out session. But that had quickly ended when both Maggie and Beth entered the room to check up on the girl. Both of the sisters laughing to each other when they caught the couple in the act.

The act that had made April blush multiple shades of red whilst Axel only smirked and laughed at the girl.

April had mentally told herself to scold Axel later for laughing since she didn't want his family to know about them, yet.

However, one person that she hadn't seen yet was Shane.

The girl couldn't help but feel slightly hurt that the man hadn't visited her yet. She was pretty sure that he knew she was awake. But April decided to brush it off since the man had just saved her life. April would forever be in debt to him. And she couldn't help but smile at the fact that he was truly an admirable man.

The man had helped her family since the start when they thought Rick was dead, especially her mom who April knew needed the most comfort from it all. With all that in mind, April knew she needed to speak with him to say thank you.

Dismissing her thoughts, April was about to turn the page about pathophysiology but gets interrupted by someone knocking on the door.

After telling the person to come in, April gets greeted by an older blonde woman. After seeing the unfamiliar women that she hadn't met before, April automatically knew who she was, thanks to Axel.

Otis' wife, Patricia.

The wife of the man who had saved her life. In other words, the man April thought she had killed. Just to save her.

Once the woman fully entered the room, April immediately thinks that she would start to scream at her for killing her husband.
