Chapter 31 -Bad side of Revenge

Part 2 of Chapter 30 - Hybrids

We get home and i look in the mirror "Damn it" I say while looking at the scratch on my face "It's just fucking great" I say angrily before putting a hand over it, i heal it half way "Are you okay?" Dean asks from behind me "It's not healing" I say  before turning around "Let's clean it up shall we?" Dean says and grab a cloth before he started cleaning the blood on my face "It's almost healed" Dean says "I tried to heal myself but it's not really working" I say and wince "Sorry" Dean says and i shrug "why were you talking about revenge?" Dean asks  

"He tortured my cousin for years before killing her and i couldn't save her" I say and the tears threaten to spill "It wasn't your fault" Dean says and i look into his eyes "Yes it was, he did that to her because she was always around me but i didn't know how to use my powers to save her" Dean puts down the cloth and looks into my eyes "You didn't know how to help her, he was a dick for doing that to her and look where he ended" Dean says and cups my face with one hand (The side that isn't hurt) before pecking my lips 

"It wasn't your fault" He whispers again and i just stay there "I'm going to take a shower" I say and he nods "Okay" Was the last thing he says before leaving, i lock the door and strip of my clothes before stepping in the warm shower

Dean's P.O.V

"How is she doing?" Sam asks as i sit down with a beer in my hand "Not good man" I say and open the bottle "The alpha tortured her cousin for years before killing her and now that she finally got revenge she thinks it was her fault" I say "I don't think she ever got real revenge and now that she did she doesn't know how to take it" Sam says and i nod in agreement "Now she has a constant reminder on her face" I say "Is it not healing?" Sam asks and i shake my head "Should we ask Cas?" Sam asks and i shrug "It's up to her man" I say and put down the bottle

Casey's P.O.V

I get out the shower and change into some shorts and a normal black top, i look in the mirror and see Phillip standing next to me making me jump and look back "He's not here Casey, he's dead"  I say, well i guess my first real revenge isn't going very well "You did it Casey, you killed him for what he did to Julie" I whisper to myself and look up at the mirror again before seeing him instead of me, i look away and look back before i see the girl i murdered scaring me and making me punch the mirror, breaking it into pieces 

I hear a knock on the door but just ignore it "Casey are you okay?" I hear Dean say but i ignore, i look at my fist while it heals and take a deep breath, i grab the door handle and open it to see Sam and Dean "You scared us" Dean says "Why does it feel like this?"  i ask "I-i should be happy that i killed the man that made her suffer b-but i'm not" I say and for the first time i am frightened "It keeps coming back to me" I say look from Sam to Dean "You're guilty" Sam says and i look up at him "Why would i be?" I ask "Because even though he did all those things he was still family" Sam says "How did you know?" I ask "Your cousin wasn't allowed to hang out with you because you were too dangerous" Sam says and i take a deep breath

"Phillip hated me even though my mum was like me too" I say "Whats her name?" Dean asks "Julie Renton" I reply "When did she die?" Sam asks "August 15th 1405" I reply "That's why" Dean says and i nod "I killed her father on the same day of her death" I reply "It will be okay" Sam says and i shrug "being okay is the only option " I say and leave them to go to a room to find a old homemade doll "I made her this" I say and the tears fall "But he never let her have it" I finish and take a deep breath

"Come on baby" Dean says and grabs the doll before putting it down, he guides me to his room and i lie down "Have some rest" Sam says and i nod, he leaves and Dean kisses my forehead "Dean" I say and he looks down at me "Can you stay with me please?" I ask and he nods, he lies down next to me and i lie with my head on his chest listening to his heart beat as i fall asleep

Dream 

I sit there in the corner of a dark room chained to a chair as Phillip grabs another tool before hitting Julie across the face with a hammer "Stop" I scream and try to break free, Phillip looks at me and grabs a knife before drawing a cut on her face and arm "Leave her alone she didn't do anything" I scream "The more you scream the more i will hurt her" He says to me before drawing another cut on her stomach 

Suddenly he's gone and so is all the tools, i am finally free. I get up and run to Julie "Case"She says and gives me a weak smile "You were the best friend i could ever have, thanks for being there for me" She says "I couldn't save,i failed you" I say as tears fall down "You didn't fail me, i ran away when i wasn't allowed" she replies weakly while looking into my eyes "I will always be with you Casey, no matter what happens i found a better place far away from that monster. I am finally happy" Julie says 

We are no longer in a dark room, but in a beautiful garden where i grew up "I miss you so much" i say and she nods "I know, i miss you too but always remember one thing Case, i will always be with you. It might not be real but my heaven is where we meet again, where we grow together, the place that there is no pain, no suffering just us two getting our happiness" She says and i look at her 

"But that isn't real, do you know what is real? Dean is real, Sam is real, they are the people you should never let go off, they are the people you should die for, they are the people you will love always and forever" She says and then everything goes dark again
