Chapter 22

"Nooooo, why? That's not fair I want to know what my baby is going to be, so that I can start buying her or him, either dresses or pants" I laughed he was going to be such a great dad, we argued whether we were going to keep the baby's gender a surprise till I couldn't keep my eyes open, falling asleep in the arms of my love.

Chapter 22

At eight o'clock the next morning Blade woke me up for Doctor Atkinson check on my kidneys and the baby,

"Blade what happened to Scot and Thomas? And where the hell are Chris and Darren why haven't they visited me?" I asked Blade as Doctor Atkinson left, I was a little angry at Darren and Chris they hadn't come to see me, surely they would have heard that I had waken up, had I done something to upset them Chris had been down in the basement but why had Thomas kidnapped him, my head was buzzing with question that I really needed answers to. Blade climbed back on to the bed lying next to me I moved so my head was pillowed on his chest he wrapped his arms around me,

"Caramel love, some of the things I'm going to say will upset you,"

"But I need to hear them I feel so lost and confused like I'm missing something, Blade I need some answers," I said kissing his chest, I knew he hated telling me things that would upset me but it had to be done.

"Okay, where do I start?" he sighed

"Start from when you were kidnapped, taken from your lecture" I said holding him tighter I remembered the night I found out he had been taken away from me, that night had been one of the worst nights of my life. Blade started to tell me how the twins had told him they worked for his father that's how they had got him out of the lecture hall, what shocked me was when Blade told me about Chris and Mark's involvement, I had been betrayed my three people I loved and trusted with my life. Scot who had been my bodyguard, Mark who had practically raised my little brother and Chris's betrayal hurt the most he was essentially my brother after everything Chris and I had gone through I couldn't believe he would be involved in the kidnapping of Blade, how could he do that to me, to the man I love?

"Blade if Chris was involved in your kidnapping why was he chained up? He went missing the same night you did" I asked confused,

"He wanted Thomas to free me, he threatened Thomas that he would go to the FBI and tell them were Thomas had me captured. Thomas wasn't having it so he did the only thing he could, he locked Chris up and no one suspected anything since Mark had told everyone that he had gone back to England." Blade looked a little sad like he felt sorry for Chris,

"Where is Chris now?"

"He got two years in prison" Blade went quite after that looking up at the sealing his arm tightened around me like he thought I would disappear if he let me go, funny I felt the same way, "You know that Chris was and still is in love with you?" he asked I nodded my head against his chest, Chris had told me himself. "I can understand why he did it," Blade couldn't mean he understood why Chris helped Thomas kidnap him,

"Blade what do you mean?" He looked down at me meeting my curies gaze; he stroked my check planting a kiss in my hair,

"I can understand why he helped Thomas kidnap me" I looked at him in shock how the hell can he understand that? After everything he went through the torture,

"Love does strange things to you and having another man touch the girl you love can drive anyone crazy, Chris loves you and him watching me touch you kiss you, he loathes me and truthfully I can't blame him if any man touched you the way I touch you well let's just say I'd do more than kidnapping them."
