I lay in bed my eyes on the small alarm clock on the bedside cabinet, it had only been half an hour and it felt like years since Blade left. Ben had his small hand in mine he had cold sweat dripping down his forehead he would mumble ever so often in his sleep, Natasha had left me some food but I just couldn’t eat when my baby was so ill.

There was an argent knock on the door taking me out of my thoughts I looked up as the door opened a very flustered looking Darren walked into the room his mobile in hand, Natasha and Elena behind him,

“The president of Germany is on the phone” he whispered handing the mobile to me; I sat up carefully not wanting to jostle Ben. I tuck the mobile from him sitting at the edge of the bed confused why he would be ringing me out of all people, what the hell was going on?

“Hello?” I asked thinking he had the wrong person,

“Am I speaking to Miss Nefertari Williams?” his English was coated with a German accent,

“Yes sir you are,”

“Okay good, the president of the Untied States rang me this morning and told me his friend Richard Dowerson needed my help. I take it your son is seriously ill and a man in my country has the antidote, I so to it this morning we retrieved the antidote some of my government officials are coming over to your hotel at this very moment they should be there within half an hour.” He spoke very quickly trying to get as much information to me in a small amount of time, but what he said both relived me and scared me Blade, Richard, Linken and Mathew had gone to get the antidote.

“Oh my god, my fiancé, Mr Dowerson and some other people have gone to get the antidote they rang the man this morning and made arrangements to see him he lives somewhere up the mountains,” I told him really worried now what if they went to see the wrong person, what if Adolf told them the wrong person.

“Yes but the man, I got my officials to get the antidote from lived up the mountains, I think Miss Williams I must have rang then man after Mr Dowerson did. The place they are going to is very dangerous we had the man moved to a safer location there is a high chance of landslides there and the altitude is very dangerous. Ring them quickly before they get to the locations there isn’t any signal there.” As a president he was a very nice person to help someone so much especially someone he didn’t know, I would have to thank the US president as well, but I was really worried about Blade I quickly thanked the Germany president hanging up, I dialled Blade’s number quickly but it went to answer machine straight away, I quickly dialled Mathew’s then Richards but they went to answer machine. Elena, Natasha and Darren had all heard the conversation I had the mobile phone on loud speaker

“What are we going to do?” I asked them they all looked really worried but lost for words. We all jumped when we heard the knock on the outside door, we all existed the bedroom going into the lounge the security came in with three man with badges showing us they were the government officials one of the opened there briefcase taking out a syringe with which I presumed had the antidote,

“Where’s the child?” he asked, I led him into the bedroom were Ben lay asleep, “he’s going to stay unconscious for about three hours after I’ve injected this antidote, keep him warm” he lifted Ben’s arm finding his vein then injecting it slowly pushing the liquid in, Ben stared in his sleep moaning in pain I quickly clutched his hand after he had taken the syringe out I pulled Ben into me cuddling him to me. I noticed that his forehead was already cooling down, “the doctors will look after him now,” the man said standing up.

“Blade and the guys won’t answer their cells I’ve rang them god knows how many times and left them loads of voicemails” Darren said defeated.
