Secular Holidays under the Pax Fashionista:

February 1st Candlefast - A time of purification observed with the airing out of heavy garments and bedclothes, hanging of lanterns, changing of electric bulbs, wearing white garments, fasting and break-fasting with dairy treats.

March 21st Pastel - A time of renewal when citizens phase-out dark winter attire for brighter, lighter, spring apparel, share evening meals with family, renew vows and memberships, and paint or repaint homes, shops or furnishings.

May 1st Belting - A time of bonding  in which citizens clean and polish leather goods, and come together to decorate public areas with ribbon.

June 21st Lithe - A time of recreation when citizens are physically active in sports and games,  and begin taking summer holidays away from the cities, in country or beach resorts, when it is considered appropriate to wear swim and active wear.

August 1st Lammastide - A time of leave-taking when citizens take leave of older possessions and burn what cannot be reused on evening bonfires.

September 21st Vesting - A time of gathering when retailers begin to sell the current year's fall fashions at a reduced price and citizens complete their fall and winter wardrobes.

October 31st Hallowed Eve - A time of remembrance when ancestors and those fallen in The Great War are honored by citizens dressing in costumes inspired by times and people's of the past, before the cleaning of shrines and grave sites the next day.

December 21st Yuletide - A time of celebration when citizens decorate with greenery, dress in velvet, attend formal balls and dinner parties, and exchange gifts.
