Maybe this is my punishment. I decided to stop talking to her, I took our kids away from her and I never let her see them. I should have tried to fix things but instead I gave up. The only thing that seems to calm the pain of her memory is the burning liquor that is taking her place.
The image of her laying beside me with her short hair over her face and scattered on my chest replaced by the image of her grave. My kids will never have a chance to meet their mother, Michael and I took that away from them.
"Maybe you should slow down a bit." Jack tried to grab the bottle but I pushed his hand away.
"Yeah dude, you look like shit" Ashton added taking the bottle from me and taking a drink
"I should have tried to work things out. I should have given her another chance." I avoided eye contact with jack and Ashton already knowing what they would say
"She was literally fucking me at the same time she was fucking you then when we were done she went to you and Niall. Why are you so heartbroken over her? She's not worth it." Ashton shrugged
"Who are you to say that? You are still going after Ryder even though you know you have no chance after you murder her son you psycho." I spat rolling my eyes at Ashton
"You're drunk so that's the only reason I won't kick your ass but if you say some stupid shit like that again I'll fucking kill you." Ashton calmly stated taking another sip of the whisky
"If you even lay a single finger on Luke I will snap your fucking neck. Don't take the fact that I'm sitting here with you as me liking you, I'm only here for Luke so I won't feel any remorse when I kill you." Jack challenged Ashton who just gave him a blank stare before looking back at me
"Well then tell Luke to watch his fucking mouth when he talks about me and Ryder's situation. I didn't do anything to him so he shouldn't try to make me feel like shit just because he does" He simply stated
"Just try not to think about eli, okay?" Jack patted my back
"I don't think I can."

"You can, you've done it before. You're just regretting not letting your kids have their mother in their lives. You'll get over it soon, just think of the fact that she was never committed to you and move on. You'll find love again." Ashton said trying to cheer me up. I didn't respond, not because I was speechless but because I knew he was right.

My heart began to slam in my chest as his words repeated themselves in my head. 'Iknowyoursecret.' My eyes widened when his words finally registered for me. He probably heard everything I was saying to Ruby and Michael. I quickly regained my composure before speaking
"I'm sorry but I don't know what you're talking about." I said trying to push pass him but he grabbed my arm, pulling me back.
"Don't play dumb with me, Ryder. I know exactly who you are." He smirked as he pushed the room door closed causing me to back up in fear of what he might do. "Jonah might be fooled but I'm not, I can see right through you and your little plan." I couldn't utter a word as He began to circle me. Once he was in front of me again he collected a curl between his fingers tauntingly playing with it. "So tell me, how's Michael and Ruby doing, you were just talking to them weren't you?" My body tensed. I tried to relax before he noticed but the chuckle that passed his lips made it clear it was too late.
'Lie to him.' I heard Michael's stern voice say into the ear piece
"Jonah took my phone when I got here, there's no way I could possible contact them." The guy's lip began to twitch into a crooked smile as he backed me up into the wall
"You're right, I must have just been hearing things." The guys warm lips began to trace my neck causing me to tense up from the uncomfortable situation.
'Ryder are you alright?' I heard someone speak into the earpiece right before it was ripped out of my ear. My eyes widened in fear when I saw the guy dangling it between his fingers before raising it to his lips and speaking
