Rocky
A tall man came in the vet's office with his teacup pom in his left hand and a bottled water on the other one. Took a quick glance at us and I think I saw a little smile there, the dimple on his left cheek deepening. His little pom's a majestic snowball of fluff, I like her.

Pebbles

Doctor Nikki came out of the room.
"Oh, RJ, hi! Hello there, sweet Pebbles! Saglit lang ha? Unahin ko muna sila." Then she directed at my lady, who's crocheting something in her seat. I only hope it's not another vest for me. "Hali na kayo, Maine. Rocky, how are you, boy? Ready na for your vaccine?" Ugh, kelan ba ako magiging ready sa mga ganyan? Si Doc Nikki talaga.
Inside the clinic...
Doc Nikki: Kumusta, Maine? Ang cute ng vest ni Manong Rocky ah. Ang galing mo talaga, Maine. Fiber art, passion mo talaga yan noh? Pagawa rin ako for Chantal ha?
Maine: Yes, Doc. Just let me know para mapakita ko sa'yo yung mga new colorway ko sa yarns ko that you would like for Chantal. Uy, thank you po. Sana na appreciate rin ni Rocky tong mga pinapasuot ko sa kanya hahahahah. Pero he looks cute on it noh?
Sheesh, Maine. You are an excellent fiber artist alright, I even help dye your own yarns for Pete's sake. Pero hinay hinay lang sana, kalma kumbaga. Napapahiya nako sa cutie pie sa labas, si Pebbles ba yun? In fairness, bagay kayo ni Dimple Boy, Maine. Nyaheheh

Rocky (please don't judge me. Kung di ko lang talaga mahal tong si Maine...)

Pebbles
Doc Nikki came out of the clinic followed by the pretty lady with the brusko teacup chihuahua, Rocky yata name nun. Ang macho ng Rocky ha hihih.
"I'll see you on your next appointment, Maine & Rocky ha? Ingat kayo on your way home. Thank you ulit." Doc Nikki said.
Tapos lumapit siya samin ni RJ, smiling. "Your turn now, Princess Pebbles."
Inside the clinic...
Doc Nikki: Haaay jusko ka, Insan, natotorpe kana naman. Aba, pang ilang appointment niyo na tong sinasadya ko talagang pagsabayin kayo para makausap at maligawan mona si Maine. Are musicians really that torpe? Ba't di mo idaan sa kanta?"
RJ (rubbing his nape, his ears a fewer shades of crimson): Pasensiya kana, Insan, sorry talaga. Pakiramdam ko kasi pag tumingin ako sa mga mata niya, I could drown in them. She's got the most beautiful eyes, nagawan ko nga ng kanta sa sobrang ganda e.
Doc Nikki: O, next appointment ninyo 2 weeks from now. Ihanda mona yung kanta mong tungkol sa mga mata niya okay? Pebbles is fine, remember yung mga bawal na ipakain sa kanya ha. Her tummy is really sensitive.
RJ is a very good songwriter, he's got a beautiful singing voice too. And I already heard the song about Maine's eyes, he really should be singing it to her. I'm sure she's going to love it, him, us. Matinding ma inlove tong si Master RJ ko. Pero sana talaga kausapin na niya si Maine, so I could talk to Rocky na rin hihih.
And just when we were about to say goodbye to Doc Nikki...
Maine came in the door, hugging Rocky in her arms. I could feel RJ stiffen and Doc Nikki looked at the scene in amusement.
"Maine, you came back! May nakalimutan ka?" Said Doc Nikki.
Maine's eyes widened at the sight of a frozen RJ infront of her.
"Uh.. Yeah, naiwan ko yung crochet project ko sa may upuan." Then flashed a megawatt smile to a still frozen RJ.
Rocky and I barked in unison to bring RJ back to his senses. RJ talaga, halatado masyado.
"I see. Well, ayan yung project mo, buti walang nakialam. Sige maiwan ko muna kayo ha? I just need to do something sa loob." Nagpaalam na si Doc Nikki.
RJ (doing his signature ear pulling galawan when nervous): Uh, Maine right?
Maine (nodding): Mm mm (smiled). RJ right? I heard Doc Nikki mention your name kanina. (Directing her eyes at me) And Pebbles?
RJ: Yes, her majesty Pebbles (proudly showing me off)
Maine: This is Rocky, by the way.
RJ: Hey, Rocky. Your vest looks good on you. Gawa mo, Maine?
Maine (trying to hide her blush): Yes. Actually, I am making a little hat for Pebbles here. I noticed kasi mga ilang appointments na rin tayong magkasabay, so I was thinking of making her a hat. Kaso, di pa tapos...
RJ: That's okay, thank you ha? Hey, meron ka bang gagawin after this?
Maine: Nothing urgent naman, was just about to go home then dye some banana fiber yarns.
RJ: Can you join me for coffee? Doc Nikki's sister, Haidee, owns the coffee shop just across the street. They're my cousins.
Maine: I see. Okay, sige, I'll join you for coffee. Para matapos kona rin yung hat ni Pebbles.
RJ: Thank you for accepting my invitation. Daan lang tayo sa sasakyan ko ha? Kukunin ko lang ang gitara ko, there's a song that I would like you to hear.
Maine just smiled at him in agreement.

At the coffee shop, Rocky and Pebbles got the chance to talk.
Rocky: Aba, numi ninja rin tong si RJ noh? Akalain mong para kay Maine talaga yung kanta na yun?
Pebbles: Please! Mabuti nga't nakanta na niya yan kay Maine eh, kundi sakin na naman niya ipaparinig yan sa bahay.
Rocky: Tingnan mo nga naman, pati pangalan ng teacups nila, dumi destiny. Rocky and Pebbles. Pumo poreber ah.
