Greed and Fear

As much as investment bankers
adhere to Protestant work ethics
not all of them consistently
act like boy scouts
during First Holy Communion
much less as radical followers
of Jesus from Nazareth.

While the Greenback
is Deus ex machina
making Wall ST. sing and dance,
the theology of the street
is founded on the belief
that one thing
is better than money
(you've guess it)
MORE money
translating into
more honey.

Another pillar of Wall ST thinking
is that money in MY pocket
is better than
(you've guess it)
money in yours.

One God in three divine personae
together with homeless bums
the Holy spirit is nonchalantly
roaming the streets
of New York metropolitan area
in the conviction
that losing money is
to be avoided
as the plague.

Only losers lose money.

The street fortunately
resolved the fundamental
question of human nature.

Wealth banking was created
to settle infinite greed of UHNW
(ultra high net worth individuals)
whilst insurance agencies
indemnify against
temporary financial
embarrassment.

Those services were naturally
delivered at resaonable fees
commissions and premiums
since decent money lenders
ain't never took no charities.
