offenders hide the looted merchandise
in safe deposits of secretive banks
to prevent the dough from getting
redistributed, for improving education
or healthcare for the less fortunate
Heaven for the 1%, Hell for the bottom quartile
neutral entities, perhaps so
at the same day, paradoxically engaged
in the governmental not-for-profit
business of establishing regressive
and repressive, obnoxious tax regimes
to optimize selfish after-taxes capital gains.
