I'm here on the stairs
All alone, how nice
And how far you are
Like a grain of rice

Then, on Whatsapp, you finally see me again
Start to talk to me again
Start to visualise me again
Start to acknowledge my presence again

I know it's embarrassing sometimes
To call me your friend
When I can't run that fast
And when I cheat during PE class
But that's what friends are for, isn't it?
They're the ones who don't run as fast as they can, but run with you
They're the ones who don't call you out for running one less lap,
But they're the ones who cheat with you

So, if those are friends,
What do you call us?
Where one is invisible,
And the other too blind to see?

I would take a bullet for you
Would you?
I would cover up for you
Would you?
I would help you
Would you?
I would never treat you like you are invisible
You already did.
