Aprils POV

The darkness had ended. Consciousness crept up on me and my eyes blinked open. At first I just saw white, then colors and features
started to form. Green pine trees, soft snow(there seemed to be a mix
of deserts and snowy forests where we were) and gray sky's. But now
people.

Where were they?

I looked around once more, but found nothing. I get up from my laying
position and start to walk around.

I started to hear voices, they were quiet at first, but soon got louder.

Brady and Amelia and Stacy, they seemed to be arguing. Stacy sounded
quieter than the rest, she was trying to keep the piece between Brady
and Amelia maybe.

Whatever was going on, it was serious.

I slowly crept up into an opening where the three stood.

They notice my entrance, as I snapped a branch. All three look over at
me their gaze softens, besides Brady's.

"What's going on?" I question.

"Brady-" Amelia Is cut off by Brady.

"She at least doesn't need to know this." He snaps.

"I told her what I had to." Amelia replies, her voice is in a growling
tone again.

"I don't think you had to tell her actually."

"She deserved to know! Stop blaming me on your own fails."

"I trusted you! If your just going to tell her all of my secrets then
you can leave! This plan doesn't need you." Brady spat.

"No way. I have to protect April, from you." Something in Amelia
snaps. Anger and hatred seemed to be too strong for her to control.
Her eyes swirled black and her muscles bulged then shrunk.

"April" Stacey's voice is full of warning. "You have to go, this isn't
safe." She warns eyes full of worry. I shake my head and ignore her
pleads.

Silver scales and fur erupt from her skin that just falls off.
Amelia's spirit was gone.

I look over to see Brady's reaction, but he was experiencing the same
thing as Amelia. I stumble backwards in fear, but I'm too curious too
leave.

Finally their transformation is done.

Sharp teeth in both of their mouths, Brady a blue beast and Amelia a silver one.

I watch in fascination as they battle each other. Shoving, biting, kicking.

It was the deadliest battle I've ever seen, but there wasn't any blood. Thankfully.

I watch as they fight with inhuman strength and speed.

Then I feel the presence again, the bars of its cage shook and started to crack.

My smile faded and I concentrated in this new threat.

What was going on?

Heat rose to my cheeks and Stacy was beside me. I knelt to the ground to concentrate better.

"April breathe, we can't have you like them too." She mutters and rubs my back soothingly.

What did that mean? Like them to??

How could I be like them?
