ANNE’S POV

Ugh, I hate my life right now! I’m leaving my long- time friends in the middle of my sophomore year and have to move across the city just so my dad can fulfill his dream job. I remember my friends shouting and waving at me, as they got smaller and smaller in the distance—until they were tiny specks.

“Byeeee!" my friends shouted. Their happy voices echoed throughout my head the entire day.

I smiled—a sad smile. I was truly going to miss them. Leaning my head against the cold, hard window, I peered out and noticed the scenery around me had changed. The area was more forested and spacious, with large trees and ferns and mossy shrubs. Fascinated by my surroundings I soon found my eyes closing on their own accord—slowly drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
