"Hello, Sarah"
"Who, you?" the girl asked quizzically
"Me. Why, I'm the president"
"Who?"
"The president, I make sure everybody in Ireland is good"
"Okay"
"Now, will I tell you why your here"
"Yes"
"Your" mammy and daddy have died Sarah, do you know what that means
"Yes" she sobbed
"Okay, I'm very sorry about them Sarah , but, since you have no family left I decided you can come live with me"
"Molly too?"
"Unfortunately she can't come, I have no room, but, I will make sure you see her loads. So, will you come live with me"
"Okay"
"Great! Now, if you stay you'll have to do an awful lot of schoolwork. Your going to be the smartest young girl ever!"
"I don't want to do work"
"Don't worry, it'll be fun"
"How?"
"Your going to learn how to use computers and you'll learn what the big boys and girls learn before they do"
"Okay!"
"Good!"
With that, Sarah gave the next five years up into learning some extremely difficult things a child her age wouldn't even be able to comprehend. She was at the level of a fifth year student in secondary school and she was only nine. Molly and James visited once or twice a week and called each other once a day. James had grown up a bright child, above the average intelligence level of children his age, but, only by a small amount. Molly had been adopted a year after her parents death by a vegan family. Because of this she became a devoted vegan and animal rights campaigner. She was about the same level of intelligence as James. The children were about as happy as could be. And it looked set to stay that way. But life always finds a way.
