Dawn's POV
I sat at home by myself, feet kicked up on the couch. Every hour I would receive a phone call, from a private number. I would answer with a simple hello, but heavy breathing was all I heard. I would hang up, and they'd call back an hour later. It would repeat every hour. But i wasnt scared, Ashley would be back any minute now.
Beep, BeepI reached over twoards my phone and saw a text from the private number. It was video, and as I pressed play I couldn't believe my eyes. TMZ had recorded Colson coming out of the club with some skank. "We have asked MGK who this mystery woman was, but received no comment. They both sped away in his nearby car. But, one question stays on our mind, where is Dawn?".
I asked myself the same question, where am I. Leaving, I thought. I packed my clothes and saw a picture of me and Colson on the nightstand. I grabbed it and cut my face from out of it. I never knew that it would come to this. I understand what most baby mothers of rappers went through.
I decided to wait until he got home. I sat down and waited a good ten minutes when his car pulled up.
I looked at the picture I was gonna surprise him with. A picture of our twins, a boy and a girl.
"Dawn, nothing happened", he said sitting next to me. I couldn't figure out what to believe. All I could do was toss him the photo.''We're having twins" he said putting his hand over his mouth.
"Who says WE are having twins? ". I knew my gut hadn't betrayed me. Something wasn't wrong wIth me. ''Why? Why Colson? Why'd you do it? ", I said squeezing his hand.
''I didn't, I just dropped her off, that's all", he pulled me close and Kissed my head.
"I just don't know what to believe any more, or who", tears gushed out of my eyes.
"Your eyes, they capture the truth. So I'm going to be honest and tell you the truth". After what he told me, I slapped the shit outta him. I grabbed my car keys, and left for Jess' s house. The girl who played the player for me.
