Seventeen. I'm Not Playing

" Oppa, I think there's something in my eyes! Can you take a look, I can't see properly! " Chaeyeon who was standing in front of Jungkook whines. Jungkook who was on the opposite side of her moved closer to the girl and bent down to take a look at her eyes. But of course, there was nothing wrong with her eyes.

" If I catch you thinking about him one more time I'm really going to delete every single one of your pictures that you have of him. Of him and you too of course. " Mingyu scold at Yein who was sipping her coffee.

She sighs at his scolding and nods.

Today is her first day at her job. It hasn't been long since she got accepted to J company. Yein had been studying fashion and she wanted to work as a designer and a clothing seller. J company was what she needed.

She is full of anxiety and nervousness but at the same time, excitement swims in her body.

" I'll go now. I don't want to be late on my first day. " Yein inform Mingyu and she left.

" Jung Yein-ssi? Right? I'm Jung Chaeyeon. I'll be working with you from now on with the designing team. "

Yein smiled and nodded at her. But on the inside she was filled with anger.

Jung Chaeyeon, the girl that she had seen with Jungkook a year ago. She didn't want anything to do with her, knowing that she may have taken away her so-called-boyfriend. But as a well mannered and a person with respects, her job comes before any personal issue.

" Jung Yein-ssi. The CEO is here today, he'll need to meet with the new employee. Please go up to room J809. "

" Alright. Thank you Yoo-Sunbaenim. "

As soon as she received the information, she heads to room J809. She stepped into the elevator, to see a man with dark gray hair with long bangs. It didn't look like natural gray hair at all; it looked artificial. His eyes were slanted, in the shape of a triangle, and his lips small and pink.

" Min Yoongi" , read his name tag.

She glanced at the man and he glanced back at her. The elevator ride seemed to last forever when it was suppose to last only two minutes.

After a long period of time, at least, that's what it seemed to Yein, she finally got out of the elevator, escaping the awkward silent.

She immediately walked to room J809 and saw a line waiting outside of the room. A line full of employees just like her. Ahn, Baek, Cha. Names were called after names but it didn't take long for her name to be called.

When her name was called, she stepped into the room to see the man who she had been with on the elevator with. Min Yoongi.

And then her eyes went down to the person who was sitting in the desk. She took a step back, back, until her spine hit the door.

" Yein...I-"

Before he could say anything, his words were cut off by Yein.

" Stop. " She said.
" I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear your explaination. " She said once again.

" Just listen to me will you? " He plead.

" I have nothing I want to hear from you. I'm here to work. Please tell me what you want to tell me, as an employee. You're my boss and I am your worker. That is our relationship. "

" What are you talking about? Yein will you just listen to me?! " Jungkook yelled slightly.

" Listen to what! You left for five fucking years! Five years Jungkook! I tried to believe that you were still waiting to see me, I waited all these years! You didn't even bother to contact me! I waited all these years just to see you with another woman? Jung Chaeyeon was it? Yeah. You're having fun watching me suffering right?! " She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Unwanted to be involved with the two's argument, Secretary Min left the room.

Jungkook walked away from his desk and head towards Yein.

She wanted to step back but there was no ore space for her to move.

He got closer and closer, until he was literally three inches away from her. His hands cornered her, making her unable to move. Left? Right? No. There's no escaping.

" Jung Chaeyeon? I have no relationship with that girl. She's just someone who's been trying to steal your position. " Jungkook said with a cracked voice.

Yein looked into his eyes and breathes heavily.

" Last year, you came back to Korea. "

Jungkook's eyes widen.

" I saw you kissing her. "

" I never once touched that girl. It's a misunderstanding! You're the only girl that I've ever kissed for the past five years! " He slightly yelled. His voice ringed in her ears due to how close he was.

" Don't play with me Jeon Jungkook. "

" I'm not playing. "

" Oh plea-"

Her eyes widen and her hands were clenched.

She could feel his lips on her own's. She tried to push him away but he already had a hold of both of her hands.

Jungkook tilt his head to the side trying to kiss Yein deeper but she wouldn't let him.

Suddenly, tears flowed on her face, her hands now soften and then she gave up. She gave up. She let him in.

Once again, she let him in.
