Blossoming Flowers
We run through the fields
Laughing and crying
We crash onto the ground
Smiles slapped on our facesI entwine my fingers
Around the stem of a flower
I turn to face you
And give the rose
That blossoms in front of usThe years of our youth passed
And now we grow old, crippled
Like flowers that would eventually wiltSo we sit here once more
Fingers entwined
As we watch the flowers
Bloom under the night skyWe, once blooming flowers,
Laid against the ground
Enjoying the last few momentsTogether
And when the rose slowly Wilts
We close our eyes
And open them once more
To see the once blooming flowersWith a smile,
Both of us held hands
And strolled to our new homeThe garden
We blossoming flowers
Who were once youth
Will forever remain youthful
At the heart******
I was so inspired by the epilogue of Young Forever by BTS. The video is up there. Listen to it! It's amazing 💜
