in every way possible
yes, i admit that
she looked astonishing,
the definite of perfection
and of course, your
one and only
yes, i admit that
but it hurts to see
you smiling and
laughing like you
once did when you
were my friend
it hurts to know
we are bounded
by friendship
and not the love
that i desired
you won't
you can't
and will never
be mine
because after all,
we were just friends
