Chapter 5: A Mysterious Shadow and The Detectives
"Selene, may naisip ka na bang booth natin para sa Halloween Party?"
Me and Gyeong are heading to the cafeteria. Recess namin so it is our chance. I always took the Zombie and Vampire Booth. Since I love zombies and vampires. Siguro naman, sikat na sikat pa rin hanggang ngayon ang tungkol sa kwento nila Bella Swan at Edward Cullen. I like this kind of event pero minsan nawawalan ako ng gana.
"Zombie and Vampire Land, I guess." suhestiyon ko.
Wala rin naman akong magagawa. If they don't want, then I'll give them my respect.
"That's nice Selene!" masiglang sigaw ni Gyeong.
Ganyan naman talaga siya. Hinawakan ko na lang ang bibig niya dahil napalakas ata at nasa amin ang atensiyon ng lahat. Pero hindi na lang namin sila pinansin at tuluyang lumapit sa tindera.
"Nestea po at Brown Cookie."
"Magkakadiabetes ka niyan."
Napalingon ako sa nagsalita, it was Duri. Ano na naman ba ang iniisip nito?
"Gatorade nga po at burger." usad nito sa babaeng nakabantay sa mga pagkain.
"Burger is high of cholesterol and carbs." usad ko.
Lumingon ito sa akin at ngumiti.
"I know, but gatorade will help me. It helps my body to replace lost fluids and electrolytes to promote my hydration. It have a 0ml of cholesterol, 0ml of fat and 90 ml of Sodium." mayabang nitong sabi.
He is good with this huh. No wonder hindi lang annoying newbie ang tingin ko sa kanya. He is also a smart one.
"But Gatorade contains dextrose, citric acid and sucrose acetate isobutyrate who will clean your entire body especially your kidney. Every parts of your kidney will slowly can feel burning sensation alhough it contributes blood for the anemic person."
He stared on me amazingly. Sa peripheral view ko naman, papunta na rito si Min. Bakit ata sa tuwing nagkikita or I mean nakakaharap ko si Duri ay nagpapakita si Min? Tsk. Di ko na lang iisipin.
"Oh, andito na pala ang knight in shining armor mo?"
What? Knight in shining armor? I think narinig pa ni Min ang sinabi ni Duri at tinignan ito ng masama ang lalaki.
"Let's go to the Auditorium, may play about sa Phantom of the Opera. It was your favorite since then right?"
Yeah, I've heard about the play. I really love Phantom of the Opera especially the Protagonist Cristine Del Valle and Raoul. And I love the way they sang. Music lover rin naman ako.
"S-Sige pero kakainin ko muna ito Min." usad ko at lumapit kay Gyeong na kanina pa naghihintay sa akin sa upuan.
"Hoy, ginugulo ka na naman non?"
Napatango na lang ako sa tanong ni Gyeong. I don't want to talk about it at baka isipin non na pinag-uusapan namin siya. Mahangin pa naman baka sa susunod, bagyo na. Tsk.
