They started the project and some details that they needed to discuss as early as now, lalo na ang targets nila. She already agreed to have Ethan's company do the printing and she also submitted some suggestions about what she would be including on the book. Wala pa din silang final decision about it but the management was more of thinking kung ano ang mangyayari if the ending of the book she made would be different.

Ethan was silent the whole time that they were having a meeting. Normally, he makes suggestions but this time, he remained still. Besides, he hasn't really read the book that Allie gave him.

They finished the meeting after two hours. It happened to be the director's birthday as well so he sent pizza for them. His secretary came in.

"Miss Castillo, Sir Ethan, Sir Art wants you to go to his office for a private lunch," sabi nito.

"Huh? I-I'm okay. Tell him thank you," tanggi nya.

"I'm sorry, Ma'am but I don't think I can tell that to him," nahihiyang sagot nito.

"I'll go up now, Marcia," Ethan told his secretary. He went out and left the function room.

"Ma'am?"

She took a deep breath.

"Okay," she finally agreed which made the woman be relieved. She left with her as they went upstairs.

She didn't have any choice but to stay. With all of her requests granted, a few minutes with the director wouldn't hurt even if it meant dealing with an ex. Doon lang din nalaman ni Raffy that the director happened to be Ethan's godfather. They were talking about business while eating until he asked a personal question.

"Well... You are of age now, son. I don't know why you haven't settled down yet. Wala ka bang girlfriend?" he asked Ethan, within everyone's hearing range.

"I don't have one."

Raffy was not making any comment and remained eating.

"Oh really? You are a good looking man. You need a woman beside you. Since when have you been single?"

She became silent and still, looking at the plate of food in front of her.

"Uhm... Five years ago," he answered.

Five years? she thought. His answer made her feel more uncomfortable.

"Wow," Art said, also surprised with his answer. "I guess it had been a tough situation when you broke up that's why you remained single."

He just smiled.

"Or maybe you loved that woman too much for you to stay single this long after you broke up?" his godfather pried.

"I did," he answered shortly.

Raffy decided not to speak until they finished eating. Gustong gusto nya na lumubog sa kinauupuan sa mga oras na iyon. She decided to excuse herself to go ahead of him so as not to have any other encounters. She should have realized that she would be working closely with Ethan dahil sa gagawin.

Although she would still be writing the book, they needed to talk about it as much as they can since she has to go back to the US in a few weeks time. She had been in the country for 2 weeks already.

"Miss Castillo, I appreciate you staying to join me and Ethan for lunch," he said. "I'm sorry I can't see you both out but Ethan can send you home. Son, do me a favor please. Pakihatid muna si Raffy."

"Me? S-sure," napipilitang sagot nito.

Raffy tried to decline it but he was too persistent that the two didn't have any choice but to obey. When they got to the parking lot, she refused to get in his car.
