I step back from the door, opening it for Seth to come in as soon as Luke is gone down the street. He grabs me and pulls me into his arms, nudging me against the door.

Smiling, I let out this kind of relieved noise, somewhere between a sigh and a giggle. "Oh my god." I mutter. "That was scary."

"Scary is an understatement." Seth answers, leaning in and pecking my lips. I don't stop him, or push him away. "I suck at acting, so I don't know how much I actually convinced him."

"You were actually rather believable." I say. "A bit hesitant, but not bad overall." He leans closer so our noses are just brushing. "Anyway, I have a feeling Luke's pretty simplistic."

"I have a feeling you're right." He says, smiling. I lean closer this time, grabbing at his shoulders, pulling him closer to me, closing the gap between our lips and our bodies and any gap we had left before.

"So I'm now American, named Lily, here on holidays-" I pause. "Never met any of you before." I sigh. "It doesn't sound so bad."

"You wish you'd never met me before?"

"I wish I'd only met you now." I answer, leaning closer again. "You're a much nicer person, and you're not too bad at kissing, either."

"Thank you." He answers. "If I may say so myself, you're not all that bad, either." I smile lazily, leaning back against the door, grabbing the front of his shirt, and pulling him against me again.

I smirk before he pulls me into another, longer, better kiss.

"Oh, Seth, you are back-" A female voice I don't recognise says behind us, then there's a shriek, and the sound of something metallic dropping.

He pulls away suddenly, looking somewhere between amused and terrified, a little red in the face. I dread to think how I look.

"Hey, Mom." He says. "Sorry, we just got in." Her eyes dart to me, and Seth reaches for my hand. "This is Zoe Meyer, my girlfriend." I do a double take a the fact that he just called me his girlfriend. He did not. He did not.

He did just fucking not. It's the second time he's done it in about ten minutes. I guess this must mean something. No, I mean this is seriously unacceptable.

Even though he's a really good kisser, and I really want to kiss him again. There's a moment of awkward silence, before his mother shrugs.

"Uh, it's a pleasure to meet you-" I think wildly. "Mrs Davis."

Now that I look at her properly, I can see Seth. A little bit. His eyes, definitely, and his nose and cheeks, too. But his mum has a high forehead, and he doesn't, so I guess that must be from his father. And his lips-

Okay, I need to stop thinking about those lips.

But every time I try, I just think about how it felt to kiss those lips, and that just makes me want to kiss him even more again.

"It's nice to meet you too." His mother says. "Uh, Seth, your dad is out for dinner tonight, so if you needed to talk to him it'll have to be tomorrow."

It's only then I notice she's wearing black uniform trousers and a blue blouse, with a jacket over it. She must have just got back from work. Without thinking twice, I reach into Seth's back pocket, barely conscious of the fact that I'm touching his butt, and pull out his phone. It's already six in the afternoon.

I only left home at half one. Wow. Time has really flown by.

"That's okay." Seth answers, but he looks a little dejected. "Do you want me to help-"
