The joint team of Teams 7 and 11 were about to depart from the leaf and start Team 7's first C-rank mission. Before they did, Kushina went to see Naruto. "Naruto, I know that you may not care much about or your siblings but I hope that you'll at least keep them safe," Naruto looked at her like she said something that his stupid teammate would say. "I already planned that. Just don't blame me if they get themselves killed" he said emotionlessly. Kushina flinched at the tone that her eldest son. What she did still haunts her, but wanted to make it up to him. Kasumi's thoughts were on the same line as that. Jin's thoughts were on how he could destroy Naruto's friends and show his older brother by a few minutes, that they were lying and go back to their family. When the last of the conversation was done, the teams set out to the Wave.

{On the Road to the Wave}

The trip had been silent for the most part, with only Sakura and Kakashi making any noise. Sakura, because she kept asking out Satsuki, who was still in her genjustu  and looked like she was going to kill Sakura if she didn't shut up. Kakashi, because he was reading his stupid smut, and juggling it with glaring at Naruto, which Kushina noticed and made a mental note to rip up every one of his books. After a while, the gang saw a puddle. The jonin knew it was an illusion, as did the entirety of team 11 and Naruto and Satsuki. The only ones who didn't notice were Tazuna and the harpy, and even then, Tazuna still noticed there was a puddle. When they all passed it , two ninja appeared from the puddle. They first went for Kakashi and Kushina which they got to and tore up with the chain on their gauntlet. "KAKASHI-SENSEI! KUSHINA-SENSEI!" Sakura screamed at the top of her lungs. Naruto and Satsuki moved first. Satsuki used a shuriken to stick the chain to a nearby tree, while Naruto used one of his kunai knives to keep the chain in place, then punched the left one, while Satsuki kicked the right one in the chest. They discarded the chain and went for Tazuna. "Your dead old man." both the ninjas said at the same time. Just then, Kushina and Kakashi showed up with the both of them knocked out. Before Sakura could say anything, Naruto put his hand on her mouth, and pointed to where the dead bodies should have been, there were two logs. With that sorted out, Kushina and Kakashi moved to tie up the two ninja, when they came back they looked at Tazuna who was shaking like a leaf in a storm. "So Tazuna? When were you gonna say that you were lying? Ya Know~" Kushina said in a sweet voice that promised pain. Tazuna, scared out of his mind, proceeded to explain why he lied to the leaf ninja. "Well it is up to you all. Do we take the mission or go back to the leaf?" Kakashi asked. The answers followed as such.

Naruto: "I say we keep going. I don't exactly like the idea of leaving a country to die." to which Kakashi glared at him, but didn't say anything(An: No one knows that Minato is alive or that Kushina was the Nine tails' container.) and Kushina smiled at her "son's" mentality, despite what he had been through.

Satsuki: "I agree with Naruto, plus I want to see how far we can go with all the training we put into our abilities."

Sakura(An:This one is going to be painful to type.): "I AGREE WITH "SAUSKE", AS LONG AS HE'S HERE, WE'LL BE FINE." this hurt everyone's ears, most of all Naruto's, because of his enhanced hearing, due to being the jinjuricki(An: I don't know if that is how you spell the word, so tell me in the comments or message me it.) of the Nine tails.
