Where's Alexx?

Steve's POV

I woke up to Abby licking my face. I sat up and pat her head. "Good morning, Abby."

Abby yipped and jumped off the bed. I looked at the other side of the bed, now vacant. Alexx was gone. I got out of bed and opened my door, and Abby ran to Alexx's room, then looked at me. I opened the door and looked inside.

Abby whimpered and I looked at her. She sat in the spot where Alexx's backpack had been.

"Oh, no." I mumbled.

I ran from the room and down to Tony's lab, Abby right behind me. 

"Hey, Steve. You okay?" Tony asked. 

"Where's Alexx?"

"She ran away?" Nat asked.

Tony replayed the security footage that showed Alexx sneaking around, going to the roof, then flying away. 

"Why would she run?" Ryan asked.

"She told me she was going to 'kill as many of the bastards as she can', but I told her not to. She must have left while we were asleep so that no one could stop her." I said.

"Damn it, Alexx." Ryan mumbled.

"Do you know where she might be going, Ryan?" Nat asked.

"Yes. And if I'm right, we need to get to her before she gets there."
