"Hi-hi Luke." I managed to speak. I waved bye to Annie and started to walk towards Luke. As soon as I stepped up to the curb I almost fell flat on my face.

"Woah!" Luke shouts as he lunged toward me trying to save me from falling. "Are you okay?" He asks me obvious concern in his eyes.

"Yah I'm fine, thank you." I said laughing as I brushed myself off. He laughed along with me, still holding my forearm. I look up from brushing myself off to see Luke staring right at me. I looked right back, I could feel the tension between us growing. I almost lent in for a kiss but couldn't gain the courage in time.

"I um-sorry. Wanna go in and eat-something?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yah that would be-nice." I couldn't help but smile at how nervous he was. It's good to know that I actually make someone nervous.

We walked toward the door and like the gentleman he is he opened the door for me. I politely entered the room thanking him for the kind gesture. He slowly walked behind me being sure to leave a large unsettling space between the two of us. I tried to slow myself down to close the space but it seems the slower I went, the further behind he fell. I kept thinking there was something wrong with me. Did I embarrass him? Did I smell bad? Did I look okay? I was extremely nervous by the time we had sat down. I couldn't stop tapping my fingers on the table and shaking my legs.

"Is there something wrong?" Luke manages to ask. I shake my head no and his hand twitches toward mine but he quickly pulls it back. "Are you sure? You seem a bit upset." He asks once more.

"No-no I'm fine, just a little tired." I reply obviously lying. I wanted to ask him badly what was wrong with him but I didn't want to sound crude. The waiter came back and asked us what we would like to drink I replied with water and Luke got Mountain Dew.

"So-are you-you reading still?" He asked me. I nod trying not to let a giant grin spread across my face from his nervous gestures. It settled me to know he was almost as nervous as I was. "What are you reading?"

"I'm reading a book called The Fault In Our Stars."

"Is-is it good?"

"Yah, it's my favorite book." I finally decide to let the smile spread across my face. I look up from my lap and see Luke's hand laying on the table. I couldn't decide whether or not to grab it, I didn't want him to think I was jumping into things, because I am most certainly not.

The waiter broke me from my thoughts when he set my water on the table and asked us if we were ready to order, Luke and I looked at each other and nodded.

"Okay great." The tall man with brown hair said turning toward Luke, motioning Luke to order.

"We would like the Meatball Parmesan Pizza." The waiter nods at his reply and asks if that's all, Luke replied with a yes and he walked off telling us our order will be ready in ten to fifteen minutes.

"You don't talk much do you?" Luke asked me.

"I-I want to talk but I don't know what to say." I admit. A small laugh escapes his lips which causes me to smile.

"Say anything." He tells me.

"No, it's okay you can talk if you want." He sighs at my comment and rubs his hands together.

"What's your favorite movie?" He asks me. How do I answer this without him thinking I'm a complete fool.

"Um-Well I really like Alice in Wonderland the classic not the one from 2010."

"Really? I thought the one from 2010 was a lot better." He smirked at me waiting for a reply.

"The 2010 version doesn't portray the same concept. I know it's a continuation but I didn't like the way it was set up. The acting was magnificent don't get me wrong but I still didn't enjoy it as much as I did the 1951 version." I got a bit ahead of myself when talking about a subject so silly but I couldn't help it.

"You stand up for what you believe in, it's-lovely." I couldn't help but giggle at his compliment. I couldn't help myself any longer, I reached for his hand and grabbed it gently. The reaction on his face was something I will never forget. I quickly pulled it away, his face went from completely thrilled to utterly disappointed.

"I'm really sorry I didn't mean to grab your hand I-" My heart stopped as he took my hand and interlaced his long lanky fingers with my little stub fingers.

"It's fine, Drew. Really." He said smiling. Luke then says "Your hands are so small."

"I know, I'm sorry if they are kinda dry I forgot lotion." I tell him surely regretting it after because of the expression left on his face.

"Stop apologizing." He demanded me. I always apologize it's something I did, I honestly just wanted people to like me. It's not like I enjoyed worrying and apologizing non-stop. Saying sorry was something I have always done.

"If you were in my shoes, you would understand why I apologize so much."

"Well, when you're with me, there is nothing you need to be sorry for. I mean unless you punch me in the face or eat my food, that's just not okay." Luke told me with a genuine smile across his face. I think that was my favorite thing about him, besides his personality, is that perfectly shaped smile, and the way his lip ring moved along with the curve of his lips. It was easily the most magnificent thing I have laid my eyes upon.

"What?" I heard Luke ask. I jolted a bit because I had totally forgotten where we were and what we were doing for a split second.

"What?" I reply back.

"You were looking at me." He stated.

Oh it's only because you are the most beautiful human being in the world and I want to kiss the living hell out of your sensational face.

"Your lip ring is intriguing." Is all that came out.

"Should I take it out?"

"Oh gosh no!" I half shout. I could tell he was trying to hold back laughter by the way his face turned red and his smile.

We talked for a bit longer before the pizza came which was the most delicious pizza I had ever tasted. The flavor of the pizza danced across my taste buds as I ate my second piece.

After eating pizza for about twenty minutes, after another ten minutes of bickering over who was paying Luke paid and then we took a walk, in the nicer part of Los Angeles of course.

"Thank you." I told Luke as we walked through the city.

"For?"

"Everything. Tonight was amazing and it was the most fun I have had in a long time." I told him because it was, I haven't smiled this much since I was at least six.

"You're very welcome, anytime you want to go have some fun, just text me Drew." His smile showed that he was being serious which gave me comfort that I wasn't annoying him. Just as I was about to say something I felt Luke's hand in the small of my back and he turned me toward him. I wasn't sure if I knew what was coming but I was almost certain.

Luke bent forward, I felt the heat of his body getting warmer and warmer. Before I could even hesitate his lips were on mine. His lips tasted of Mountain Dew and pizza, I hope mine didn't taste the same. This kiss wasn't the same as the kiss at the hotel, it was more passionate. The way his lips moved with mine made my heart race, this was nothing that I have ever felt before. The way I felt with Luke was something that couldn't be felt with anyone else. I could tell it was different this time, Luke was something special.
