1999 Wild Wild West

Partying in L.A. was such a different atmosphere, than the average Palo Alto house party. It was much more sophisticated. I had traded up beer, stolen from a parents' liquor cabinet, for Martinis, and Cosmos.

I hated parties back in high school. Mostly because I had to drink in order to really have a good time, and ended up in some bathroom making out with some guy from the football team. Here, I was able to have a lot more fun. Surrounded by people I genuinely enjoy. A few friends that I have made in L.A. so far are;

Busy Philipps, (She gets paid to makeout with James on Freaks and Geeks. Although, they don't get a long. At all. She and I have been hanging out a lot recently, despite her resent for my best friend "pushing her" during an intense scene. She is rad as hell with a great sense of humor.)

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, ( I met her at one Sara's cast parties . She's absolutely gorgeous, and looks just like Tiffani Amber-Theissen. Also, she's about to start filming this movie with James.)

And Sara Michelle Gellar (we became friends on the set of Cruel Intentions. I had a very small role in that film, but we quickly connected. Mostly through our love of reality T.V. She and I were currently filming The Craft: Re-awakening.)

We were currently at a club, on sunset. The music was bumping, and lights were flashing. 

"Don't look now, but those guys are totally checking you two out." Busy told us, nodding to a couple guys a few feet away from us. They were both tall, and extremely handsome. Although, one of them seemed way more attractive to me than the other. He for sure wasn't my type, as in he seemed very clean compared to my past boyfriends, and flings. I looked away quickly, looking over to my group of friends.

"They're cute." Jodi hummed. "Quick, fix your hair." She told me flipping her hair over her shoulder. She sat up straight and offered them a very Jodiesque smile. Meaning really sexy. I chuckled, before running my fingers through my hair smoothing it down. With a smile like that, they had to come over. 

"And here they come." Sarah stated, nonchalantly taking a sip of her drink. 

"Hey ladies. My name is Tom, and this is Ashton."  The dark haired, blue eyed boy greeted. 

"Hi." We replied in a sort of unison. 

"How are you doing tonight?" The same guy asked. I was expecting for the cuter guy to say something, but he stood next to his friend staying silent. 

"What? Do you work here?" Busy joked. 

"No. I just saw a really pretty woman, and had to come talk to her." Tom replied. Jodi let out a small chuckle before responding. 

"Thanks, but I have a boyfriend." Jodi told him, with a smile. Attempting to let him down easy. 

"Actually I meant the one with gorgeous green eyes." He stated pointing over to Sara. 

Sara's eyes widened, looking up from the drink she was staring at so intensely. "Oh." Sarah muttered, taking a gulp of the drink within her hands. "Well, my name is Sarah. " She smiled.

"Hi, Sarah." He greeted. 

"Hi." She replied. 

"Have a seat." Busy told the guys,  helping Sarah out.  Tom took a seat next to her, and Ashton took a seat next to me. He smiled at me, and I returned the smile before taking another sip of my drink. He was cute, but I had absolutely no idea what to say, or if he was even interested. So I just sat there awkwardly sipping my drink.
