Back at it with a short chapter(;

Las Vegas proved to be as eccentric as these North Californians could imagine. Los Angeles was eccentric itself, but Las Vegas seemed to take it to a new level. There seemed to be sex stores on every corner, and many people walked the streets half naked. Cassie practically died when Jodi suggested they go to one of these stores and maybe buy a few things. Cassie confided in Jodi, telling her about her plans with Ashton on this trip. They had landed a few hours ago, but their trip was packed.

James walked through the adult store with furrowed eyebrows looking for his brunette friend. She had left him an address which ended up being this exact sex shop. He recognized another brunette girl in an all leather outfit, analyzing a long black object.

"Jodi?" Suddenly, it all made sense.

She looked up from an object nonchalantly wagging it in the air to wave. "Hey, James." She responded.

"Where's Cassie?"

"Dressing room." She responded. "Have you ever used a whip before? I always thought it'd be too much, but I'm feeling an odd sense of power right now that I think I enjoy." James looked at her skeptical

"What about this one?" A familiar voice asked. James looked towards the girl, as his heart seemed to skip a beat... or two.

"J- you're here. Thank god. I need a male's opinion." She rushed walking towards the full length mirrors. James couldn't take his eyes off the girl. She was dressed in lace, lavender baby doll. Her brown hair cascaded down her back and swayed as she moved.

"With what, exactly?"

"Lingerie for Ashton clearly." Jodi explained. "That's cute and all but tell her to go for the black latex instead." Cassie quickly turned her head, raised eyebrows at the girl before Jodi rolled her eyes. "You don't want to look cute you want to look sexy."

"I think she's a good mix of both." James shrugged. Now raised eyebrows were directed at him.

"Thank you." Cassie said slowly. "So you like this one then?"

"No."

"Yes." James and Jodi responded at the same time. Jodi shook her head sighing in defeat.

Cassie smiled looking at her two friends. "Purple it is." She made her way to her dressing room closing the curtain behind her.

"I'll just get the black one for myself then."

"Whip included?" James slightly grinning

"Of course." She stated making her way to the racks.

James turned his head back over towards the dressing room curtain his friend had just gone back into. He sighed taking a seat on the chair rubbing a hand down his face. "What do you think of this?" The voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Of the outfit?"

"No. Of Ashton and I." She clarified. "Taking things to the next level." James felt a weird feeling at the pit of his stomach, causing him to stand up. He felt a strange sense of anxiousness and another feeling he couldn't put his finger on.

"Well I uhm-" He muttered nervously. "If you think he's the right guy then-."

"James-" She interrupted. He turned around to find the brunette girl, this time fully dressed, standing behind him.  "That's just it. I really think he's the one." She admitted. This time, as he looked at her, he felt as though his heart had dropped. He wanted to tell her that there was no way in hell Ashton could have been the one. He wanted to hug her. He wanted to kiss her.

"I'm happy for you." He said instead.

Now he knew the feeling. It was jealousy.
