Leila's POV

"So how has it been pretending to be Emmanuel's girlfriend and your attempt to be Devin's?" Harmony asked as we entered my apartment still in our work uniforms.

"Stressful. Just when I think that Devin and I are finally getting somewhere, Emmanuel calls and is asking me to dinner with his family or to discuss his mom which we never do because he always finds a way to 'forget' and I end up stuck with him for an hour and a half."

"Girl your better than I am because I know for sure I would've already told Emmanuel where he could shove it."

"Trust me I wish," I muttered grabbing two cans of pop out of the fridge. "But every time I see Taylor I remember my time with her is limited and I don't want to waste another second."

"How is she holding up?" Harmony asked softly and I shrugged.

"She's been fine. Normal actually, she just get's a pain in her lower abdomen every once in a while. Emmanuel thinks she's in denial about the whole thing and won't let the realization hit her until after the surgery."

"I see. So where is Devin?" Harmony asked looking around.

"Well, it's 11 now so he should be on the radio by now."

"Devin is on the campus radio? Turn it on I want to hear him!" Harmony cheered excitedly and I rolled my eyes before flipping to his radio station. It only took a minute or two before Devin's sensual voice came through the stereo.

"I hope you enjoyed the single of one of Hamilton's very own students. His mixtape drops on December 28th but on to discussion hour. We're giving our caller's a chance to call in and talk or rant about anything they want so call in at," he recited the number and Harmony dialed it into her phone.

"What are you doing?"

"I want to be on the radio."

"Harmony this is ridiculous."

"No, it's not," she said before cursing, "damn I didn't get through, I'll call again."

"Caller you're on the phone," Devin said cheerfully to whoever he had gotten.

"Hi Devin, this is Candy," the annoying voice said and I fought the urge to roll my eyes.

"Hi Candy, again. What do you want to talk about?"

"Well I want to know what you look for in a woman," she said and I couldn't help but lean in slightly to hear his answer better.

"Well I like a woman who is smart and funny, can dress to impress for a night on the town but still can pig out and watch some football, a girl who is classy with my family but a freak with me and willing to try new things. I want a girl with a future who will build up with me not hop on for the ride, does that answer you question?" He asked and my mouth nearly dropped open.

"Is it just me or does it sound like he was talking about you?" Harmony asked and I rolled my eyes.

"He was not talking about me."

"Yes that does answer my question and it's funny because you actually described me to the T," Candy's voice came through the speaker and I nearly choked on my pop. Fit her! She handed out business cards that said 'Candy the woman of pleasure.'

"I'm sure it is. Good talk Candy," he said before connecting with someone else. "Caller you're on the air."

"Hi I'm calling for some advice for my best friend," a familiar voice said and my mouth dropped open as Harmony paced up and down my living room with the phone resting on her ear as she spoke.

"Harmony! What are you doing?" I whisper-yelled but she waved me off.

"Sure. What's your friend's problem?" Devin asked and I couldn't figure out whether or not he knew it was Harmony or not.

"She likes this guy but her ex keeps getting in the way of her happiness."

"Can you be a little more specific?" Devin asked and I bit my lip nervously.

"Her ex has something over her that makes her have to go see him although she has no feelings for him and this amazing guy that she does like, I don't want her to lose him because I know she is really feeling him."

"In my personal opinion, I think that this guy that she likes will only take so much before he makes her choose so either she figures it out or she may just lose him."

"Thanks, Devin. I think my friend has a question for you as well, hold on," Harmony said before handing me the phone.

"Harmony no."

"What do you have to lose?" She asked before taking a seat on the couch. Taking a deep breath I put the phone to my ear before speaking.

"Hello?"

"Hi caller, what can I help you with?"

"I've listened to your show previously, big fan by the way-"

"Glad to hear," he said with a small laugh and I bit my lip to prevent my smile.

"So anytime I hear you on your show you're talking about love, giving relationship advice, or even doing something like this which makes me wonder; is there anyone that has caught your attention that fits your description of the perfect woman or was that just a fantasy?"

"Well I have met a woman who has caught my attention but no she doesn't meet my fantasy idea of the perfect woman," he said and my smile slowly dropped.

"I see."

"The woman who has caught my attention doesn't meet my fantasy woman because she is my fantasy woman and more. She's the most amazing person I have ever met and if she's listening I hope she knows that and that I do not apologize for waking her up at 5am to go running," he said causing me to laugh earning a look of surprise from Harmony.

"I bet she was mad about that huh?"

"You have no idea but you know it was all worth it when I saw her eyes light up as she looked at the sunrise. So Ms. Unknown, does that answer your question?"

"Yeah it does, thanks."

"Anytime, I hope you call again."

"Maybe."
