Afinas pov

When we got into the institute my head hurt so much from all the new information that was just given to me

"So how is she your sister?" Clary asked and I looked at him for the answer

"She's my twin sister, I only know because my mom would bring up a girl named Afina and I did some snooping and I found her" he pointed at me "and I found out that she's my sister"

"If your a mundane and I come from a mundane family how am I a shadowhunter?" I asked and Jace looked like he had thought of something

"It's very rare, you have the sight and I don't know how but you do and that's how you became like us" Jace explained

"At the club I remembered a name, Simon" I explained and the guy raised his hand

"That's me I'm Simon" he said and I nodded sill confused

"How did you remember his name?" Jace asked me and I shrugged

"Don't know I bumped into this guy at the club and when he said his name I remembered simons name" I said before Alec came walking up to us

"What the hell is going on? Why is there a mundane in the institute?" He asked

"Circle member followed him here when he tracked Clary" Jace explained

"The circle members took my mother" Clary said glancing at Alec but I could see her eyes shift back to Jace

"What is a circle member exactly? And why are they trying to kill us?" Simon asked and I turned toward him

"There not trying to kill us, there trying to kill Clary" I said and turned back to the conversation

"She's right they are after Clary" Jace said

"Is that all you pay attention to now? Is clary?" I asked and Alec nodded his head at me with the same question in mind

Ignoring me Jace continued to explain more about the circle and how his father died and clary looked at him sadly and I rolled my eyes.

"Ya everyone is forbidden to even hear about the circle or even talk about them" Alec said looking bored with the whole thing.

"How's that even possible? It's your history" Clary said and I scoffed as did Jace

"Says the girl who didn't know she was a shadowhunter" he said backing away and I let a little chuckle out

"Ya, ya your right and the only person who knows the truth is missing and I want to get her back" Clary said obviously frustrated with Jace

"Ya we know you want to get your mom back Clary" i sighed walking over to a table before sitting down as Clary gave me a look

"I just want a way to know where to find my mother" Clary said

"There is, coming?" Jace asked walking away as Clary eagerly walked with him

"Wow" I whispered and Izzy looked at me "the sexual tension is already to much between them and they just met" at this Izzy laughed and we stood at the computers with Alec as Simon started arguing about runes

"What are runes?" He asked nervously

"They give us our demon fighting power" Izzy said taking out her stele and running it across her arm but Simon was only paying attention to her looks as he said 'so hot'. I just looked at him

"Really Simon?" I said and he shrugged as if asking what before he went back to staring at Izzy as she started talking to him again.
