Raphael paced the room as Magnus looked at Afina trying to figure out a spell to help her when he sat up and rolled his eyes

"Raphael you are not helping" Magnus pointed out and Raphael stopped pacing and Magnus stood up

"Can you help her?" Raphael asked nervously looking down at her and Magnus sighed

"I think so, but Raphael I don't think I can have you around her anymore after she wakes up" Magnus said looking down at her remembering how she was like his daughter

"What?" Raphael asked through gritted teeth glaring at Magnus "I don't have time for your argument. I need to know she's safe. I have to go soon"

"Ya I know, I'll help her." Magnus walked around his house getting the ingredients he needed and Raphael watched as he started pacing again and Magnus grew frustrated "RAPHAEL! Stop pacing!"

Raphael rolled his eyes at Magnus before he went to sit in a chair that was next to Afina. When Magnus was done he went over to her with his spell book and started muttering a spell and Afina shot up breathing deeply before she fell back on the couch

"What the hell just happened?" Raphael asked standing up

"The spell worked, she's fine. She'll wake up soon" Magnus explained before he put his book down and his front door opened

He looked over his shoulder to see that it was Luke, Jace and Clary who were helping a very weak Dot walk in

Magnus gave Dot a healing potion as soon as she was laid on the couch and Raphael clenched his jaw before running out of the building leaving Afina on the couch

Afina's eyes shot open as she gasped before she groaned and held her neck

She looked at her surroundings noticing she was at Magnus's place and she also noticed no one was there

She got up walking around the room before pulling out her phone to see multiple missed calls and messages from Alec

"Institutes under attack, don't come help you'll get killed"

Afina rolled her eyes at her brothers message, she knew she could possibly die since she was a downworlder but if you were trying to keep someone away don't tell them something like that.

She vamp sped out of the building running to the institute when she got there she stopped seeing Jace pointing his sword at Raphael and she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion until Jace put his sword down and Afina shook her head before walking up to them

"Afina" Raphael straightened up at the sight of her but she only ignored him

"What's the plan?" Afina asked crossing her arms as she looked at Jace

"You go with Clary and Magnus" Jace said keeping it simple and Afina nodded before everyone went there separate ways

Clary and Magnus were walking in front of Afina, Clary having her sword drawn out just in case

Afina didn't pay much attention to the conversation only until she heard her name and she started listening

"Me and Afina will go look for Simon" clary said looking up at Magnus

"Are you sure?" Magnus asked

"She's being used, it's not her fault but she needs to be stopped" Clary explained and Magnus sighed before giving in and Afina and Clary went to find Simon
