Wicked schemes

Afina woke up a while later looking to the side to see that Raphael was no longer next to her and she sighed before getting out of the bed and walking to the main room to see Raphael

"Hey, is Simon still here?" She asked him and he shook his head

"No he left basically as soon as he got here, Clary needed his help or something" he said and pulled Afina into a hug

"Every time I wake up you are never next to me" Afina sighed and he stroked her head

"Every time I'm awake you have to leave" he teased and she laughed a little

"Touché" she laughed and she could feel the vibration of his chuckle and that made her smile even more

Raphael pulled away from her and handed her a glass of blood, Afina looked at it disgusted and took it hesitantly before looking up at Raphael

"Drink it. I don't want you to starve to death" Raphael said and Afina hesitated before taking a sip and then another sip and then she started gulping it down and it was gone in seconds

Afina covered her mouth after seeing the now empty glass not knowing she would lose that much control

Raphael noticed her freaking out and pulled her close to him

"Sh you'll get used to it" he said trying to calm her

"Will I?" She asked but Raphael didn't answer her and she took that as her answer.

The couple stood there for a few minutes Afina shaking slightly when Simon walked in making Raphael push Afina behind him and she quickly wiped at her mouth to get the excises blood off

"Hey sorry if I interrupted something but I need to speak to you Raphael" Simon said and Raphael nodded slightly signaling for him to continue "Clary wants to speak to you"

"And why would I want to speak to her?" He asked crossing his arms

"Because I think you'll want to hear what she has to say" Simon said mirroring Raphaels actions

Some of Raphaels men came into the room to do more research on something and then Clary and Izzy showed up

"For shadowhunters you don't do a lot of shadow hunting" Raphael said making Izzy scoff

"There's more to the job then killing demons" Izzy said and Clary butted in before a fight could break out

"We need to talk to Camille we know you have her here we tracked her to the hotel" Clary explained

"She's a bit tied up at the moment, is there something else I can help you with?" Raphael said

"Just a second" Simon said pulling Raphael away from them and Afina stayed where she was

"Afina? Do you think you could help us?" Clary asked

"No, you use Raphael way to often and knowing you, you will lie to him, trick him im not going to do that to him" Afina explained crossing her arms

"Why not?" Clary asked

"Because I love him" Afina said softly and Clary's eyes softened

"I'll bring you the rest of Camilles things but speaking to her is out of the question" Raphael said turning back to the group and pulling Afina next to him
