Raphael had gotten out of bed and Afina knew it because she couldn't feel him next to her anymore

She opened her eyes and looked around to see Raphael walking around the room his arms crossed with an annoyed look on his face

"Raphael?" Afina asked rubbing her eyes slightly and he looked at her quickly and put a smile on his face

"Hey beautiful" he smiled sitting beside her and she noticed he was still shirtless

"What's wrong?" She asked him

"Nothing" he brushed off and she gave him a look and he sighed "Simon told the institute that I was responsible for something and I'm going to go find him"

"I'll come with you" she said standing up and he sighed but didn't say anything knowing it won't change her mind

After Afina got ready she looked down at her phone deciding to text her sister

Afina: hey Izzy any news?

Izzy: we found him last night but Clarys mom tried to kill him and Valentine so they ran. Alec got mad at Clary saying if she didn't show up you wouldn't be a vampire Jace wouldn't be with Valentine and I wouldn't of almost got banished

Afina: damn I miss everything now

Izzy: maybe you should stay at the institute more often

Afina: maybe I have to go. Me and Raphael need to go talk to someone

Izzy: alright bye see you soon

Raphael had looked over Afina's shoulder just to see what she was doing and he couldn't help but feel saddened when she said maybe to being at the institute more

He looked at her sadly but covered it up when she turned around to look at him

"You ready?" She asked and he nodded before taking her hand and leaving the hotel to find Simon

When they got there they snuck in behind Simon scaring him when he turned around

"Hey bud como estas" Raphael said to the very scared Simon

"Raphael amigo!" Simon said walking passed him and Afina rolled her eyes

"Explain to me why you told Victor I'm responsible for the vampire ambushs" Raphael demanded

"No I didn't say that I said that this is way above my pay grade, they come from guys at the top like you, while saying it back I can see how they came to that conclusion" Simon said nervously and Raphael shoved him back

"That was one of Camilles debts, and now because of you I'm being called in to answer for it" Raphael said moving past Simon "you have any idea what the clave does to vampires who violate the accords?" Raphael asked

"Not sure I want to know" Simon informed

"They nail us to a cross and let shafts of sunlight burn off our body parts, one at a time" Raphael explained

"Which body parts? You know don't answer that! I can probably talk to Clary" Simon said getting more and more nervous

"No, you're gonna find Camille and bring her back to the hotel" Raphael said placing a hand on Simons shoulder
