When Afina woke up she turned to her side to make sure Raphael was still asleep before she attempted to get out of his arms but failed when he pulled her back

"Raphael I told Izzy I'd go visit her" Afina laughed as Raphael shook his head

"Do you have to?" Laughing again Afina sat up with Raphael following

"Yes I have to she's my sister. I'll be back before you know it ok?" Raphael reluctantly nodded before letting Afina get out of bed

After she was done Afina went to the tunnels and made her way to the institute once there she was set on finding Izzy until she got stopped by Victor

"Well, I see your wounds healed" he said standing in front of her to block her path before he put his hands behind his back

"Ya" Afina looked up at the man oddly not trusting him at all

"What are you doing here?" He asked

"To see Izzy" Afina exclaimed

"I can't let that happen, see you're a vampire even if you used to be a Shadowhunter you're not anymore so I can't let you come any further." Afina looked up at him in disbelief suppressing a smart remark

Victor motioned for her to go back to the tunnels but when she didn't move he tilted his head slightly

"I mean it is daylight and I could throw you out the hard way but I don't think Raphael would be to happy with that" Victor said "so go, this is your last warning"

Victor walked away from the girl and Afina looked around to see his men starring at her waiting for her to leave

She didn't want to risk being thrown out in the daylight so she turned around but before she left she turned and gave the Shadowhunters her worst glare baring her fangs slightly and she smirked seeing some of them grip there blades

She walked back down the tunnels frustrated with Victor being in control now

Half way to the hotel Afina decided to call Izzy to at least ask if she was ok

"Hello?"

"Izzy hey, I came to see you but Victor wouldn't let me get past"

"Thanks Afina but I'm fine really I'm more worried about Clary"

"I never liked her but she didn't deserve this I feel bad for her"

"Ya... I gotta go Jace and I are gonna train I'll call you later"

Before Afina could respond Izzy hung up and Afina sighed. She felt so overwhelmed lately even if she wasn't doing anything she felt so useless to everyone. She wouldn't admit it but she was slowly breaking

Afina paused for a moment taking a deep breath not noticing the tear that had ran down her cheek until it fell on her hand making her quickly wipe her eyes before she continued walking to the hotel

When she finally got there she went searching for Raphael tears staining her eyes blurring her vision as she bumped into someone

"Hey are you ok?" They asked and Afina wiped her eyes and looked up at the stranger

"Ya I'm fine. Sorry I bumped into you" she apologized and the stranger smiled

"It's fine really" he said

He looked like he was about to continue talking when a voice interrupted them
