New Years Eve Update

Draco's POV
"So today is a free day?" I ask Hermione.
"Yes, its Saturday," she says in a smart tone. I smile at her.
"What do you want to do?" I ask.
"How about we get a pet?" Hermione says. I knew she missed Crookshanks. Especially because he took a killing curse for her. I owe that cat everything.
"Sure, love," I say and she kisses my cheek.

"I love you," Hermione says with a bright smile. I feel like I will never get tired of her saying that. I have no idea how she got stuck with someone like me when she is so amazing.
"I love you, too."
She grins and goes up to grab a purse. I grab my wallet throwing in in my pant pockets. When Hermione comes back, she holds three coats. One for each of of us.

"Let's go," I say to holding my arm out for her. She laughs and take hold of it. We apparate to the Shrieking Shack. We leave the Shrieking Shack and walk around.

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy?" a cute girl with white blond braids asked. Her mom is holding a wizard camera.
"Yes?" Draco asks expecting the usual death eater taunts.

"I wanted to know if you could take a picture with me. You see all the other kids always say that you are still a death eater and a bad person but I disagree. I look up you because you went against your own blood and you helped us all," says the girl. Draco smiles brightly at the young girl. The little girl goes pink. Awe, she has a little crush on him.

"Sure."

"Ms. Granger can you be in it?" asked the girl. I nod with pride at my soon-to-be husband. We all gather together with both girls in his lap.

"Say cheese!" her mom says smiling brightly. When face forward we see a lot of reporters.
"There you go," says her mum. The little girl hugs Draco as a thank you. He smiles at her.

They walk away we are ambushed by reporters. I pick up Athena and we continue walking.
"What happened with Mr. Potter and his fiancé?"
"Do you have a date set?"
"Mr. Malfoy!"
"Ms. Granger are you pregnant?"
We quickly go inside the Magical Menagerie.

"A cat right?" Draco asks. I nod and Draco takes Athena from me and we look at the animals.
I see a small kitten in a cage full of kittens with their mom. The small orange kitten was not being fed so I asked the lady working there. Draco walks over to me.

"Which one?"
I point at the small orange Munchkin cat.
A blond witch followed came to us.
"Hello, I am Ophelia. How can I help you?" the blond asks Draco batting her fake eyelashes coated in black mascara.
"My fiancée wants that orange Munchkin kitten," says Draco.
"Are you sure. We were planning on getting rid of her because her mom didn't want her?" Ophelia asks. I am horrified. I nod with my hand covering my mouth. I absolutely love cats. I miss Crookshanks so much.

"It will be 3 galleons and 1 sickle," says Ophelia writing something in the recipes.
"We will also get a litter box, litter," says Draco. Ophelia conjured up a black metallic littler box with a sack of littler. She put and Undetectable Extension Charm on the bag and put in the box and the litter I chose some feeding bottles and also put that in along with two bowls for food.
"The price will be 3 galleons and 4 sickles," says Ophelia.
Draco handed her 4 galleons and we all held hands and apparated into our room.
I put down the kitten and the bag.
"What do we name her?" I ask Draco.
"How about Lyric?" I ask Draco.
"Lyric. I like it."
"Daddy!" Athena yells excited at the kittens arrival. I grin.
"Hey, Atty, this is our new pet. Her name is Lyric," he explains with a smile at the mention of his name being said first. I roll my eyes at his and he smiles.

"Lwuiric," says Athena with a bright grin.
"Lyric."
"Lwyric," she tries again.
"Yes, Atty that's it,"Draco says proud of his little girl.
"What do you want to do?" Draco ask.
"Well, didn't you plan on playing a game of Quidditch at five. So let's have a muggle movie marathon," I say.
"That sounds lovely. Sound I head down to get some snacks?" Draco asks. I stand up and start setting up the VCR that we have in our incredibly green common room.

"Drake, you and I both know your drawer is full of snacks," I say looking back. He grumbled.
"I'll head down to get some popcorn. Butter and Kettle," he says. I nod. After I set up Instructions Not Included, I take off my shoes and Athena's along with her coat. I grab a few blankets and I bring them to the couch and cover Athena with them. She giggles loudly and I grin.

I get the remote and wait for Draco to get here while I play the movie.
"I'm here," he says holding a huge bowl of popcorn. He sits down and pulls me to his lap.
"Hey, guys," greets no other than Blaise bloody Zabini with Ginny. She holds two scarfs.

"I managed to get you guys the Slytherin scarves to support our new team," says Ginny.
"I'm already wearing green," I complain.

"Which is why I brought a black shirt."
Ginny throws me black long-sleeved shirt and I run to the room to put it on. In less than a minute I was down in the common room.
"I don't get it. You literally took 30 seconds to change but when we go out you two need hours," complains Blaise and Ginny whacks him. Then, she hands me a Slytherin scarf. I replace the white scarf I had on before I changed with this one.

"I ask Blaise if he wanted to join us and he agreed," Draco says.
"Ok. That's great!"I say cheerfully.
Draco pulled me to his lap. Athena played with Giacomo on the floor.
Ginny was on Blaise's lap.

I ship those two so bloody hard.

We watch the movie crying with laughter. When the ending came, Ginny and I were in tears because of the movie.
"Girls, it'll be fine."

We nod and clean our faces.

"We'll I'm going to change," I say to Draco. I run up to put on a pair of blue skinny jeans and a pair of black warm boots with bows in the back. I let my hair down and I comb through my curls. I put on some matte red lipstick and I'm ready. I fix my engagement ring because I know the paparazzi will be looking out for it. I grab a small black satchel and I put in some snacks for Athena and I. I changed Athena into a tan sweater and a Slytherin scarf.
Ginny comes back with a pail of brown fuzzy boots, black pants and a white sweater. She wore her engagement ring and a Slytherin scarf. Her hair was down in waves. She wore no makeup other than gloss. Giacomo wore a pair of brown pants, black shoes and a Slytherin sweater.

"We are ready," I say. Draco said it would be cold but I doubt we will feel it.
I took a white fur blanket for Athena and I.
Draco kisses me and I kiss him back.
"Drake, love, we have to go. You have a game to win," I say to him.

"For you," he says huskily. I nod. He holds my hand while carrying Athena in his other arm. I hope he isn't cold. He is wearing his all black Quidditch robes lined in silver with the Slytherin crest in emerald green and silver. His hair is neatly combed and parted to a side. He will win.
